12/25/2025 Update: Kylo had been with his foster family for almost a month now and is acclimating nicely. He has not sprayed once since arriving and had been living in a house with one other cat. He may end up doing well with other cats, if he has enough space. ... Here is Kylo! He is a very sweet 9 year old that is looking for a new home. He is in good health with no special medical needs. He enjoys playing with string toys, sitting in his cat tree, and napping on the backrest of the couch. He is a much loved cat but due to the addition of more cats at his current home, he has been spraying. Because of this, we recommend he goes to a home with no other cats; however, we do know he is fine with dogs (as long as they do not chase him). He is ready for a new home as soon as possible. Merlin is around four; we adopted him from the local animal shelter two years ago. He is a wonderful, friendly, sweet cat that we love. He sits on our laps and enjoys belly rubs like a dog. He does not ever scratch or bite us, despite him being quite playful. We only have one issue and it's not his fault, but has reached the point where it's better for Merlin to rehome. We also want him to have a richer life since he is bored here and the house is too small; he likes to play and runs fast, but there is nowhere to go. Our female cat is tiny and timid, so when Merlin tries to play with her she runs away fast, but chasing fast objects is his favorite game, so Merlin thinks she is playing. Rinse repeat; we've tried everything but it's too much stress for our female cat and our daughter. Merlin will be a wonderful single cat, or a great playmate for the right companion. We want to find him a great home because he is amazing and so full of love!
