Story
Skye is sweet and sociable. I adopted her and her sister from Feline Adoption Network as kittens. For the first year they were inseparable. Lately though they have not been getting along. I have provided separate litter boxes and feeding stations, but it seems their rivalry may be centered around competition for me. There have been numerous daily skirmishes between them. Skye is much more in need of attention than her sister. I think she would do very well in a situation where she is the only cat and has someone’s undivided attention, especially someone who is more of a homebody and would love to have a devoted cat on their lap

Story
She’s a sweet girl that needs to go to a calm forever home where she’s the only pet. She’s a shy gal who needs and deserves to be the star of the show, once she’s had time to adjust and warm up to you. She loves gazing out windows, running laps around the house, and scratches on her cheeks and behind her ears. Her favorite perch will always be the highest one in any room. We love her so much, but we’ve realized she deserves a chance to thrive in a quieter environment with less people and pets.

Story
We have a very loving cat approximately 14 years old and have become increasingly allergic. He loves to sit on a lap and snuggle up next to anyone but we cannot provide that kind of love and support d/t extremely worsening allergies. He use to live with my son but d/t circumstances he cannot have the cat at his apt. We feel so bad that he cannot get the love and attention he craves. He is wonderful with children and will just sit on their lap and let them pet him. He needs an owner who can snuggle with him and give him a lot of attentions and love. He really has no special needs other than to be hugged and loved. He does shed a bit, but if kept combed the shedding is minimal. We would love to find him an owner who could spend time with him and give him a lot of snuggles and love. That's all he wants.

Story
I got Nora when she was 4 months old up in Humboldt County and had to move down here and she’s not vibing with my mom due to her still having that young cat energy. She’s a very sweet but needy cat, she is not for someone who wants a peaceful calm kitty, she wants to move and explore and see everything (she’s leash trained and loves going outside with humans). Her one major quirk is asides from purring and meowing she doesn’t vocalize. No hisses or growls if she’s upset so sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s on her mind. She’s very fond of pets and scratches but is iffy on being held. She’s very good with kids who understand how to pet animals and it breaks my heart to give her up, but my mom didn’t sign up for cat ownership and I unfortunately need to stay here.

Story
12/25/2025 Update: Kylo had been with his foster family for almost a month now and is acclimating nicely. He has not sprayed once since arriving and had been living in a house with one other cat. He may end up doing well with other cats, if he has enough space. ... Here is Kylo! He is a very sweet 9 year old that is looking for a new home. He is in good health with no special medical needs. He enjoys playing with string toys, sitting in his cat tree, and napping on the backrest of the couch. He is a much loved cat but due to the addition of more cats at his current home, he has been spraying. Because of this, we recommend he goes to a home with no other cats; however, we do know he is fine with dogs (as long as they do not chase him). He is ready for a new home as soon as possible. Reach out with any questions!
