Story
I acquired Snowden for the Tampa humane Society at three weeks old. Looking for a new home because my new place doesn’t allow cats. Snowden is very shy but a sweet boy, so a calm home would be best. He’s not interested in being friends with another pets but has tolerated my friends dog after we slowly and gradually introducing them. Looking for a suitable home where he can be the king the house.

Story
Leo was adopted as a kitten and is a very lovable boy but he was weaned too early and occasionally bites but not to hurt, to get your attention or to play. He is very lovable and cuddly when he’s ready for a nap. Highly energetic and loves to play fetch - he will bring you the toy back. He’s a very smart boy. He gets along well with dogs and has not been around other cats. He does not scratch furniture but does get the crazies and will fly around the house if he’s not played with. He is fully house trained and has never gone outside although he loves being out on the lanai. We want to find a great home for our little Leo. He just turned one and would be best to not be around little kids - he thinks they want to play and can be a little too playful for little ones.

Story
Pibb is a 20-week-old kitten with a big personality—super outgoing, affectionate, and full of playful energy. We found him outside our apartment when he was just 6 weeks old, and he’s been keeping us entertained ever since. He adores people, loves to cuddle, and is always down to play. Pibb is litter box trained, comfortable being handled, and up to date on all of his shots. He is a healthy kitty; he’ll just need to be neutered at around 6 months old, per the vet. This is a really hard decision for us because we have loved him dearly, but unfortunately I’m very allergic and can’t keep him long-term. We’re hoping to find him a loving home where he can get all the attention he deserves.

Story
This beautiful tabby is a quiet soul who’s had a tough start and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She’s shy at first and can become defensive when she feels scared, so she’s looking for an experienced, patient cat guardian who understands that trust takes time. With space, consistency, and a calm environment, she shows glimpses of her softer side—gentle curiosity, thoughtful watching from a safe distance, and moments where you can tell she wants to connect. She’ll do best in a low-stress home, ideally without young children or lots of activity, where her boundaries are respected and she can move at her own pace. This tabby isn’t a “pick-up and cuddle right away” cat—but for the right person, the reward is huge. Helping her feel safe and seeing her confidence grow will be incredibly meaningful. She needs someone who believes that love doesn’t have to be rushed. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in earning trust and celebrating small victories, she may be the perfect match for you. 🐾 ** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. Story
Meet Garfield, one of our sweetest gentle giants—despite his name, he’s nothing like the mischievous cartoon cat (though he does appreciate a good meal!). At just 4 years old, Garfield is a devoted lap cat who lives for love and companionship. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, always curious and always close by, as if he’s trying to “help” with whatever you’re doing. Settle in for a quiet moment and he’ll curl right into your arms, purring non-stop and making the softest little air biscuits as he melts into you. Garfield is pure comfort, pure affection, and pure heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth and gentle love, Garfield is ready to be your new best friend. To apply, visit cjpaws.org/adopt to begin the adoption process for Garfield.
