Story
2 years and 2 months I have been with my foster momma! I was just a wee baby when she got me and my brothers. I have been with her for a long time because I have anxiety and prefer to be the only cat, no dogs, and no kids. I am the usual housecat that likes to lounge around the house in the sun, and in my special bed! I take an oral medication daily for my anxiety. When my foster momma comes in the door I am waiting for her because she knows I love to be pet from my neck down to my tail. If you want a loyal girl who will come to you on her terms give her a loving home! Please give foster mom a call before adopting (813-928-9252, Audrey) ##1641320##

Story
I have kind of a crazy story to share. I was picked up when I was just a tiny baby with ringworm, which is pretty common in outdoor kittens around Florida and also pretty easily treated. Usually. But mine would just not go away, and at one point my whole body was covered in terrible gray, crusty lesions! I had a bacterial skin infection too, so I was on all sorts of medication. I felt so sick! I saw a dermatologist and even they could not really help. But FINALLY after a very long course of antibiotics and anti-fungals, I am ringworm free and cleared for adoption! I will probably always have alopecia (hair loss) from my ordeal, and hyperkeratosis, which means I get little scabs here and there that will eventually fall off. But I'm such a good cat! I am a little skittish sometimes and I have trouble retracting my claws, probably due to scarring from everything I went through, so young kids might not be a great match. When I want love, though, I will be ALL up in your lap/face demanding attention! I cannot get enough! Just be patient with me when we get home; I'll probably hide the first day or so, but it wont be for too long. I get along GREAT with other kitties and sweet doggies, too!! ##1843425##

Story
Frederick A gentle, slightly reserved tuxedo Domestic Shorthair with a soft heart and soulful eyes. While he may not be as outgoing as his brother, Lovey, Frederick is a quiet sweetheart who thrives on calm companionship and meaningful connection. He’s also quite the little conversationalist—this boy loves to talk and isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts (especially when it’s mealtime or cuddle o’clock!). Frederick is bonded with Lovey, and we’re hoping to find them a forever home together where they can continue to balance each other out beautifully. He’s fully vetted, vaccinated, and ready for a home filled with love, patience, and gentle affection. Looking for a pair of tuxedo brothers who bring both calm and charm? Frederick is ready to meet you.

Story
Lovey A cuddly, affectionate tuxedo Domestic Shorthair who truly lives up to his name. This sweet boy is always ready for snuggles, pets, and a cozy spot to curl up next to you. With his soft purrs and loving nature, he’s the definition of a lap cat. Lovey is bonded with his brother Frederick, and we’re hoping to find them a forever home together where they can continue their close-knit companionship. They’re a dynamic duo—full of charm, personality, and heart. Lovey is fully vetted, vaccinated, and ready to fill your home with love (and probably a few head boops along the way). Looking for a feline pair with a whole lot of heart? Lovey might just be your guy.

Story
💔Our Longest ALDR Adoption Kitty Residents 💔 Robin (black and white) and Eleven (tortie) are almost 3 years old and have spent their lives together, so they must be adopted as a pair. These sisters are shy by nature and will need a quiet, patient home where they can feel safe. They are not the type of cats who will immediately seek out affection. Robin has taken a couple of years in foster care to feel comfortable enough to curl up in her foster mom’s lap, and Eleven now enjoys being petted when she feels safe. With new people, both will take time to adjust and may keep their distance at first. That said, they do enjoy the company of other cats and often play or snuggle with their foster brother. They will need adopters who are okay with cats that may never be social butterflies, but who can still appreciate them for who they are. Robin and Eleven may not be for everyone, but for the right patient person or family, they will be a sweet, enjoyable presence in the home. Adoption Applications on our website: www.animalluvrs.org
