Story
Meet Mila! Back in September we were contacted by a friend and trapper asking for help with 4 kittens she trapped while working on a TNVR job. If you are unfamiliar with TNVR it stands for trap, neuter/spay, vet and return which is the only way to control the overpopulation problem we have in Florida. If no foster was found she would have been forced to have them spayed/neutered and return them where they were trapped. Thankfully, we had a wonderful foster home step up to take them in and they are now safe indoors getting the care they need. Mila and Max have come so far and now love to cuddle with their foster family! Both love to play and could do so all day! Max is a little purr machine and loves to snuggle any chance he gets. Mila enjoys following her brother around, playing with him and the other cats in the foster home. She would do best in a home with no dogs and no kids. If interested in adopting please fill out the adoption application on our website at animalluvrs.org under the ADOPT tab. We will require veterinary, personal and property references that we will verify. Feel free to email us at aldr@animalluvrs.org for more information. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org. ##1526896##

Meet our Stranger things kitty family! MEET ELEVEN AND ROBIN   Eleven (calico) and Robin (black and white) are learning more and more that humans are nice! It’s taken them awhile to come out of their shell after seeing their brothers and mom get adopted. They now are used to, and seek, lots of pets! They get along with all the other kitties in the house. They’re just starting to get adventurous and roaming around the house. They love to play with wand toys and love Churu treats! They cuddle together and chase each other all the time! They are ready for their furrever home and should be adopted together as they have become a bonded pair! If you’re interested in adopting one or both of these 7 month old kittens, fill out an application at animalluvrs.org under the ADOPT tab. We will require veterinary, personal and property references that we will verify. Feel free to email us at aldr@animalluvrs.org for more information. Story
Willow is incredibly sweet, loves pets and snuggles, is making friends with the other kitties in her foster home and enjoying life. She loves playing with toys, but will forgo playtime for snuggles any chance she gets. She is a little clumsy and wobbly, so we suspect Willow has very mild CH (Cerebellar hypoplasia), which is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. It is not contagious, requires no treatment and is non progressive, just makes them extra cute! Willow's ideal home would be with another sweet and playful kitty and humans that enjoy very affectionate cats!  If interested in adopting please fill out the adoption application on our website at animalluvrs.org under the ADOPT tab. Story
Meet Dusty! Cat Man Chris helped us save this kitty and get her into foster care. Dusty went to see the wonderful staff at Harmony Vet Care and they said she was an absolutely perfect girl for everything they had to do. She has now had full blood work, a dental cleaning with extractions, and is officially ready for her forever home!  Dusty would do best in a quiet home with patient adopters. She is sweet but timid.  All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Story
Hi my name is Kirby. I am an 8 month old neutered handsome boy.  I am a fun-loving guy, who likes to cuddle.  I do sometimes get a little aggressive with my affection but I just get so excited!  I LOVE to play fetch with fuzzy mice and fluffy balls.  That laser light is great fun too.  I enjoy sitting in the window with the sun warming my fur.  I can get pushy if I want your attention and may grab your arm/leg with my paws and put my teeth on you.  I don’t bite but if you are scared and pull away it might cause you an injury.  THat would make me so sad.  I have been around other cats but I’m not a fan.  I think I would be happiest if I was the only cat.  I get nervous around others and sometimes will swat at them causing trouble.  I like to play in the shower before, during, and after you have been in it.  I like crunchy food.  I am litter box trained.  My foster mom is working with me to break my bad habits. Boy is she patient with me.  I’m super grateful but would love to find my fur-ever home.  Our adoption applications are on our website: WWW.ANIMALLUVRS.ORG All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.
