I am incredibly loving too.  Oh how I long to be a buddy of someone again.... have a TV on in the background and a home of my own... I appreciate PPNK for letting me hang out in the playroom where I have access to the outdoor catio... pretty cool. I still like my little bed and, well... if only someone would see how beautiful I am and how I really could be perfect for someone who is perfect for me.  I've been waiting for a home since November 2024.  I am VERY playful and funny, but spunky!!  I am likely the boss of cats, so I may not do well w/ cats. a sleepover is preferred.  If there are any dogs, they would have to be known to be good w/ cats, its possible it could work.  please consider me?  All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.March 7, 2026, 11:43 am

Story
Please contact Andrea (andrea@focusonthedetails.com) for more information about this pet.Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee is sponsoredMeet Duck! Duck is an incredibly talkative gentleman who loves attention. He came to us in September after being found inside of a dumpster on a very hot and sunny day, without shelter, food, water, or someone to care for him. When we realized he wasn't feral, but instead had been dealt a bad hand, we couldn't just leave him behind. We have made it our mission to find him the perfect family who will not turn their backs on him!   Duck has been fully vetted, and though he is FIV+, he can live a healthy and long life indoors. He also has apparently had an altercation with a car or large predator at some point in his past, as x-ray revealed old trauma to his back leg and pelvic area, and he’s got some scars on his ears. He's clearly been through a lot, and deserves a quiet retirement where he can settle in without additional stress. In order to learn more about FIV, we encourage you to read the following article! https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTrpSg3Fa9SNh4THwog-f6RwIhhNeksIzKcd8tUF6H1Sy7WcyuPhlTLssbp-F7BmKtb7W6m8efbrs7uycSuOv0Wu519ntn_OY0m0fdJ6J31He does not do well with dogs, and can be a bit selective with cats - the perfect home for him is a low-stress household with someone who can give him all their love and affection! All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. Please contact Andrea (andrea@focusonthedetails.com) for more information about this pet.Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee $150 (or two for $275)This adorable duo came in through one of our local shelters at about 2 weeks old, and were bottle raised. Named for their fun markings, Tip has white tips on both of his ears. He and his sister Dapple love to play hard, and will often ambush each other from a higher vantage point - seeing a tiny kitten leap off to pull a WWE wrestler move is endless entertainment! When it’s nap time, all that play fighting goes out the window, and they snuggle up with their arms around each other. We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life.  For more great reasons to adopt a pair, visit http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens. She listens to the birds through the open window. Feather is really coming out of her shell now at our house and coming up onto the bed for pets and attention. She has lived in a cage for while now and is just the sweetest girl ever!!  She does really well with our dogs too! She has no fear of them at all, and it helps that they aren’t cat chasers either. Feather would do well in most any home just as long as they don’t want a cat that likes to be picked up and carried, because Feather says she’s not about that sort of life. she has been waiting so patiently while so many other cats have cycled through Petsmart. She just wants a home of her own where she can roam the halls and collect your affections Apply today at PPNK and give this girl the home she deserves  Feather is the perfect house guest at her foster home, we don’t even know she’s here for the most part.  She is quiet as a mouse except for her zoomies through the house with her foster sibling. Feather enjoys sitting in her bed at the window and bird watching or quietly playing with toys in her own space in the cat room. Feather loves pets and starts to purr the moment you touch her and you can hold your hand up in the air by your side and she will stand on her back legs to meet your hand for pets.  Feather is a wonderful girl that has been overlooked for far too long, please consider taking her on a sleepover to see just how sweet and docile she is. Apply today at PPNK.org, let’s not make this girl wait any longer  All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. Story
Please contact Teresa (Teresaevans908@gmail.com), (678) 409-0503, (678) 409-0503 for more information about this pet.***Courtesy post***  Precious is turning 4, (we think). Precious is a good, good boy. He loves LOVE! He'll roll around all over the carpet getting pets and back pats and belly rubs. He's quite fond of toys, too. It was not my first choice to re-home Precious. See, at my cat house, we have this five your old menace who has made it her DUTY to hunt him down and attack him. This led to two fractious cats in my small home and many accidents. Precious was never the issue. Not for us, and not for his fellow cats. I just want him in a safer home. This isn't it. Precious loves love, belly rubs, string toys, carpet, company, and above all - to feel safe in a hide away place. When you first meet him, and first take him home away to that safe hide away home, he will not abandon his kennel until he is absolutely sure that there is another hide away place beyond his horizon waiting. Under the couch perhaps... And speaking of couches...this man is a total couch potato. He was fine with our fellow cats. He just wants a quiet home. Before me, he lived with my grandmother. He was always a happy kitten. She had rescued him from her Florida neighborhood.... When I first got Precious, at the top of the year, he was just curled in a ball, a depression of sorts, for days, hidden away. But it has been my pleasure to watch him bloom. You've got to have patience with him, too. What else can I say, he's just a real flower. There's only one bad (bad) thing about this boy: He doesn't want to be caught. He will fight you. Hiss curses at you. But I have advice: the night before a vet visit, (or when he has to be caught), I had put his litter, food, water, and his covered kennel in a room with no other hidey place EXCEPT for the covered kennel. Mmmm, warm, hiddey, he'll think. And in he goes.... Take this advice with the ingenuity to create your own plan. After all!! the love, and care, and belly rubs, I was able to eventually pick him up and carry him around paces, so this may be less of an issue for you in your home and as time passes. My boyfriend, however, had had no such luck Precious is just a scaredy one, but a love-bug nonetheless.  Apply at PPNK.orgJune 30, 2026, 3:26 pm
