Story
Meet Agni — "The Forerunner of the Gods" Hi, I’m Agni. My name is Sanskrit for “fire” and also means “the forerunner of the gods.” It suits me perfectly because I’m always the first to run ahead on walks and lead the way for my siblings. I’m the leader of our little cool kitty clan, full of curiosity, courage, and playfulness. My story began with my mom, Po. She was left behind when her family moved away, but she didn’t give up — she brought six kittens into the world: three sisters and three brothers. I’m one of the girls, a bright and lively kitten who loves life and adventure. A kind human named Tanmay found us and made sure we were safe, warm, and loved. He helped some of my brothers find homes, and now I’m ready for my own new family. I’m a very playful kitten who loves running, chasing toys, and exploring new places. But I’m also well-mannered and gentle — I know when it’s time to rest and when it’s time to cuddle. I love walks, staying close to my caregiver, and leading the

Story
Meet Tikku — "The Blessed Flow" Hi, I’m Tikku! Some people also call me Appu. Both are Sanskrit names — Tikku means "one who has a tikka," a blessed mark on the forehead, and Appu means "water." I like both, because I move through life like water — gentle, caring, and full of life. My story began with my mom, Po. She was left behind when her family moved away, but she didn’t give up — she brought six tiny kittens into the world: three sisters and three brothers. I’m one of them, a little tortoiseshell girl with soft fur and bright eyes. A kind human named Tanmay found us and made sure we were safe, warm, and fed. He even helped two of my brothers find loving homes. Now, it’s my turn to find a family I can flow into. I’m a joyful, affectionate girl. I love wet food, dry food, cuddles, and gentle walks. I’m not a picky eater — I’m happy just being near you or resting beside you after a good run or playtime. I love running, playing, and exploring, and I also enjoy taking long naps.

Story
Meet Po — "The Heart of the Litter" Hi, I’m Po. I once had a home of my own, but my humans left and never came back. For a while, I waited for them, watching the door and listening for their voices. But when the world stayed quiet, I learned to take care of myself. Not long after, I became a mother. Alone and outdoors, I gave birth to six beautiful kittens — three girls and three boys. I loved them with everything I had, keeping them warm, fed, and safe. I taught them how to chase, play, and purr. Each one grew into a wonderful little cat: brave Agni, gentle Gati, caring Tikku, playful Vayu, and their siblings who have already found loving homes. Then something changed. A kind human named Tanmay found us. He made sure I had food, shelter, and peace. He helped my kittens grow strong and healthy, and he took care of me too. I’m now fixed, vaccinated, and ready for a new chapter — one where I can finally rest and be loved again. I’m a playful, curious cat who still loves runnin around

Story
Mouse was found on the side of a busy highway when she was approx. 1 month old. A rescue took her in & that is when we adopted her back in October '22. She has enjoyed being an indoor cat up until this past Feb. & seems to have adjusted well to the outdoor life. Prior to her outdoor transition, Mouse enjoyed going on leashed walks with our dogs. She absolutely loves Friskies shredded wet cat food with gravy & has never been fond of treats. Playful & sweet, she likes lounging in the sun, cat TV & cuddles on her terms. Since bringing home our baby last summer, she has started urinating inside (same spot). This was solved when we put another litter box in that area but due to it being a high traffic spot of the home, we could not keep the box there. This eventually led us to the decision to put her outside. We're now moving in October & unfortunately cannot bring her to the new house. We have another cat she tolerates but unsure how she would be with other cats. Have 4 big dogs she loves.

Story
Our 5 year old black cat was adopted from Lifeline Animal Project in DeKalb in November 2021. He has been a beloved part of our family, but since our family has grown, our schedules have become much busier, and we’ve moved to a new home where we’ve encountered conflicts with our landlord regarding pets we have made the difficult decision to find him a new home. He’s energetic at times, but most of the time he’s a laid-back, lovable “old man” who enjoys attention, affection, and being near his people. He’s still young with so much life ahead of him, and we want to make sure he has the opportunity to spend it in a safe, loving home where he can thrive. 🚨There is no rehoming fee because this decision is truly about his well-being, not money. We simply want to find the right family who will love and care for him as much as we have.🚨 Please give my sweet boy a new home and family to love.❤️ 🐈‍⬛
