I adopted Apollonia from the Lawrence Humane Society in September of 2022 as a kitten. She was adopted with another kitten, and my home had two dogs at the time as well, so she's been around cats and dogs, and is comfortable with both. Story
We rescued Solomon (Solly) 7 years ago as a very sick little kitten. As you can see now, he’s no longer a sick boy, weighing in at 16lbs. This boy loves cuddles, neck scratches and treat time. He has always been indoors and never around dogs. We have two kids that he is very gentle and affectionate towards. However the noise of his young housemates has caused him stress and we think he would be much happier in a more quiet household.

We got Seth to be a friend for our other cat. For some reason our other cat hates him. He is sweet and loving. He does have kitten habits. I don't think he would be good for a house with babies. He tries to play with our 2 month old with love bites and doesn't understand he can't do that. I am not sure how he would do with other cats because he is just scared of his cat sister here due to no fault of his own. He is great with the dogs. Roughly 1 year old

Gerdie came to us as an unweaned kitten 7 years ago. She loves attention while also keeping her space. We have two young children and while she has always been very patient with them, she would much prefer quiet and a slower pace around the house. She does have a cat brother but has no experience with dogs and we believe she would prefer to not be around them. Gerdie loves lap sitting with a good book, sun bathing and tracking birds out the window.
