Story
I adopted Babygirl at the Lawrence Humane Society back in 2023. She is almost 2 years old I believe. Babygirl is a very independent and low energy girl. She does enjoy cuddling when she wants to and loves Pur pops. Her favorite thing is to be outdoors and receiving little pats on her bum lol. Babygirl doesn’t enjoy being housed with other animals so it’s preferred to have her as the only pet in a household. I am looking for someone who is interested in adopting Babygirl as their forever companion! I’m looking for someone who has access to a gated backyard for her to be outside, placed with no other pet in the household, and has experience with adopting cats before.

Story
I am no longer able to take care of my cat in the manner to which she has grown accustomed over the last few years. Luna is very smart, but she is also very serious and can become aggressive when her needs are not being met. I am transitioning in life and I would like to make sure Luna has a chance to live out the rest of her life in comfort and peace.

Story
Uni is a 4 month old girl still living with her mother, Pearl. They are both tightly bonded. The other 2 siblings have been adopted but these two also accepted in another kitten from our local humane society as if it were family. Uni is good around other foster cats and is also good with my house cats.Boy does Uni get the zoomies! She loves time on the catio, burning rubber through the house and she's quite the athlete at playtime. Uni is potty trained and has been a doll to care for. She'd be happy in a house with other cats but would absolutely LOVE to be adopted with her mother, Pearl.Uni was spayed, microchipped and given all of her vaccinations on 7/28/26.

Story
Pearl is around 16 months old. She was formally an unhoused street cat with a lot of courage and smarts. In mid-April she had a litter of kittens and went to my friend's house crying and displaying that she wanted my friend to follow her. She brought my friend to a recycling bin where her 3 newborn babies were. I started fostering her and the kittens the next week. Pearl was a beautiful mother and a very respectful house guest. At one point, she even accepted an additional foster kitten as her own and cared for him for 2 weeks until he found a forever home. Pearl gets along with some cats, but not all. She made friends with 2 of my cats but not the boy cat. I think she'd do best rehomed with Uni, her kitten - they are a highly bonded pair (also available for adoption). She could also do good with another younger cat. Pearl is entirely litter box trained, she's clean, sweet, and plays like an athlete! She's been an absolute joy to care for.

Story
In 2020, we adopted TJ at the Emporia Animal Shelter in Kansas. He is 6 years young! TJ is loving, calm, affectionate and enjoys being around people (including kids) and animals. We are sad that we will be unable to bring him with us when we move early next year. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can show him the love and attention he deserves! 🧡The adoption will include container for food, food bowls, and liter box.

Story
Bebe is about 6 years old and has been a part of our family for around 5 years. She has lived in two different households with dogs and does well after she warms up to them. We have a 90lb Golden Retriever and they play together. She is a great play mate and also a great lap cat. She has always used her litter box and has not had an accident over her 5 years with us. She is spayed and microchipped, but could use an updated vet visit. She sometimes forgets she has claws and would do best in a household with children older than 5 years old.Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to rehome this sweet girl with our new baby. We hope someone can give Bebe a lovely life.Supplies we have that can come with her if you’d like them include; cat tower, remaining food, gravity feeder, litter box, toys, and a cat crate for vet visits. Please only submit an application if you are serious about adopting our sweet girl. We’ve had several people submit applications and never respond back. :(
