Story

I adopted Soren from the Lawrence Humane Society in 2017, and I have done my best to take care of him for nearly 10 years. I believe he is around 11 years old. Soren needs someone with much more patience than I have, and is able to be more mobile than I am. He loves attention, and seeks it all day long. He throws up every 1-2 days, I have taken him to several different vets about this, and each have said that this is just normal behavior for him. I have tried every possible "sensitive stomach" food I can find, and none have helped. He has also recently decided that he would rather go #2 on the concrete in the basement. I have no idea why. He otherwise still uses the litterbox. Ideally, the best fit for him is someone experienced with caring for difficult cats, as I no longer have it in me to do so. I have mobility issues in my lower back that make cleaning up after him difficult, and I am busy with my job throughout the day and cannot pay attention to him how he wants me to.

Vidalia is sweet, playful, and cuddly. She loves to play and eat and my other cat poops on the floor whenever she sees her. She might get along with other cats; it’s my old lady who has been the issue. I think Vida is 1 or 2 years old. She just had a checkup and shots and was very brave. She loves people and loves to play games.Vidalia will bring all her favorite things to her new home: carrier, toys, food and water dishes and water fountain, food and treats, litter box

Salem is about 2-3years and is playful indoor cat with claws. She knows how to play catch with her toys. She likes to be petted but not held. She will follow you everywhere and likes to stay by your side. She likes sleeping near my head every night. She is used to getting a lickable snack treat at sunrise and sunset and she will tell you it’s time for treat😋. She was a stray before I adopted from the Lawrence Humane Society, so she will take some time to get adjusted. She would be a great senior’s companion🥰. It has been only me who has raised her and she is a lover💕and spoiled☺️.

Story

Alphie is a 3 year old gray cat who came to use from a death in the family. Upon arrival, the 2 dogs were surprised by him. The small dog will wrestle with Alphie, but he bigger (lab mix) is deathly afraid of the cat! This has caused some major chaos in our household. Alphie also had another dog visit us last month, and he was NOT happy with the dog being here. We believe Alphie could live a very happy life in a home with no other dogs. He is your typical cat- friendly on his own terms, likes to play catch with his cat toys (esp ones with feathers!), and loves a good treat. He is litter trained.
