Story
Our cat’s name is Lucy. She is approximately six years old and is up-to-date on all of her shots. She has been an amazing cat, however, she is not particularly good with children, especially young children, and we have three young children in our lives. She would do much better with just older children and adults. She is good with other cats and we would love to rehome her with our male cat Charlie, who is approximately the same age, but we understand that may not be possible. We adopted Charlie and Lucy from the shelter in Lawrence when they were kittens. We just want a family who will love Lucy as much as we have and will take good care of him. She will come with a lot of equipment, toys, etc.

Story
Kitty Baby was my grandma’s cat. He was a wonderful companion and stayed at her feet or by her side until she passed away less than two weeks ago. He is playful, loving and funny. He eats only one kind of wet food, Blue Buffalo Tastefuls. He has seen a vet with the last 9 months and we discovered he has food allergies. Thus cat food has worked for him. If he’s too stressed he might vomit. He likes a clean litter box and a quieter home. He is such a good cat. I’d keep him but my cat cannot stand the stress of another cat and she’s in poor health. Kitty Baby is especially good for an older person. We aren’t sure how old he is. Maybe 8. My grandma found him at a Sonic in Oklahoma and brought him home. He relocated to Kansas with her last summer. He loved all the daily visitors she had and would ask you to pet him. He is such a good boy. My son and his roommates are fostering him right now, but the house is too busy for him. I think he’d do well with kids because he’d get a lot of love. ❤️

Story
I got her from the Lawrence humane society hoping she would be a good addition to my family. However she does not like dogs at all and hisses when making eye contact with other cats. She needs to be in a single animal household with someone who will give her the attention she needs. I believe she is also allergic to chicken, I have taken her to vet and she has been prescribed a specific food. Other than that she is a beautiful young lady and loves to cuddle and sleep with you, she enjoys sun bathing and playing with string toys.

This is Chester. He was born on 4/20/2013 so he will be 13 soon. He’s a sweet loving boy who loves to cuddle and be loved. He has been around other dogs and cats his whole life but is fine being a single cat.

Story
Lana is a super clingy, very friendly cat. I got her out of the shelter this last October, and I’ve loved her ever since. She was originally a stray, then a foster, and then in a shelter. I got her as an emotional support cat, and she has not done well in my dorm. It’s not a small dorm, but when I went home for breaks, she did better in larger houses with more space to explore and other cats to mingle with. As long as the other cats aren’t super territorial or aggressive, she will likely get along with them. I love her to death and I just want what’s best for her.
