Story
We are sad to have to try and find another home for her and her brother Smoky (listed as well). She is calm and very loving. Likes basking in the sun but more so lap snuggles. When she attaches to you she will greet you at the door and follow your every move like a protector. She’s amazing with kids. Our girls have frequently placed her in baby strollers and she rides around loving it!Placement comes with cat carrier, her favorite cat beds, litter box and food to get started. We want her to go to a loving home and are open to visits to make sure the fit is right for both.

Story
Nyx is an approximately 2-year-old indoor cat who was given to me by a friend when she was a kitten, and she has been a loved member of my family ever since. She is affectionate, intelligent, curious, playful, and enjoys spending time with her people. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I’m looking for a loving forever home for her because she has become increasingly aggressive toward my other cat (her adult son) as well as my roommate’s 11-year-old Sphynx cat. After trying to make things work, I believe she would be happiest in a home where she can be the only cat and receive all the love and attention she deserves. My priority is finding someone who will provide her with a safe, stable, indoor home where she can thrive and be a cherished member of the family.

Story
Bebe is about 6 years old and has been a part of our family for around 5 years. She has lived in two different households with dogs and does well after she warms up to them. We have a 90lb Golden Retriever and they play together. She is a great play mate and also a great lap cat. She has always used her litter box and has not had an accident over her 5 years with us. She is spayed and microchipped, but could use an updated vet visit. She sometimes forgets she has claws and would do best in a household with children older than 5 years old.Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to rehome this sweet girl with our new baby. We hope someone can give Bebe a lovely life.Supplies we have that can come with her if you’d like them include; cat tower, remaining food, gravity feeder, litter box, toys, and a cat crate for vet visits. Please only submit an application if you are serious about adopting our sweet girl. We’ve had several people submit applications and never respond back. :(

Good with cats,
Story
Found kitten in Raytown behind our work. We have a colony of cats but they are all fixed so no idea where Story came from (she/he will be making their own story, hence the name). I'm guessing they are 3 months old. Was found Monday 7/6/26 off 63rd street & Raytown Road. I have been able to pet and pick up. It would be best if they can be adopted and grow up in a home instead of behind our work.

Story
A sweet Senior Ready for Her Next Adventure. It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful 9-year-old Tortoiseshell cat, Faye since we are moving into a RV. She has been a cherished part of our family since she was a kitten. Faye is a low-maintenance companion who loves morning pets and spends most of her day napping in cozy, sunny spots. She finds her favorite person in the morning after she hears movement and asks for pets! She loves licking our fingers after we put bacon in the oven. She has never been one to jump on counters but has a distinct nose for new house plants, which has been the only time we have found her on the counter. Since she is declawed, she needs to be a strictly indoor cat, she loves our screened-in patio though. Faye would thrive best with adults or older, respectful children who understand boundaries and know when to give her space. She has warmed up to our two young children and has begrudgingly accepted the not so gentle pets.

Story
Hurley showed up at my house about 2 and a half years ago. She wandered into our garage one day and is without a doubt filled with as much love as I've ever seen in a sweet little fluff ball. She is my little Velcro baby and my little shadow. If you sit down, she will be in your lap or on your shoulder. She politely asks for uppies to be held and carried around and is a very attentive snuggle bug. I genuinely love this baby with all my heart. Her one downfall is that she just cannot find it within herself to get along with other cats. My household currently has 3 cats, and she is very constantly at odds with the other two. When they are out of sight, she is full of sweetness and cuddles but if she can see them, she becomes angry, guarded, and acts out. I know that if she were in an only pet environment, she could really thrive. She's so content when there aren't other animals. She is so capable of having a full and happy and love filled life. I just don't think she can find it with us.
