Once rescued from a high-kill shelter, these two were adopted out together as kittens, only to find their way back to us when their owner could no longer care for them. After some time with us, they’ve slowly begun to open up, finding comfort with a select group of people here. While they may never be lap cats, Persephone and Styx have shown they’re happiest observing life’s moments from a safe distance. That said, who knows what the future holds for this special duo? We believe that with time, patience, and a quiet, loving home, these two can truly thrive. If you’re the kind of person who understands the beauty of building trust at their pace, Styx and Persephone might just be the perfect pair for you. Are you ready to let them be themselves and build a one-of-a-kind connection? If so, these two are waiting to meet their special someone. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. Styx is bonded to Persephone and they must be adopted together. Please note, that we do NOT allow the declawing of any cat or kitten we adopt unless deemed medically necessary.
