Milo is about 2.5 years old. Milo had found a home but his adopters decided he was not the right cat for them and returned him to us. He is shy in new situations. While Milo doesn't like going into a carrier, once he warms up with a bit of time he will seek you out and even crawl right in your lap. Tahini came into rescue with her babies Holly and Tinsel. Tahini is about 1 year old. This pretty young lady is super friendly and loves to be close to you. Tahini did well with other cats in her foster home, and one of her current favorite pastimes is to hang out with her foster mama's dog. Tahini is vaccinated and microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Now that her babies are weaned it's Tahini's time to enjoy her own life. This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative Meet Siri Siri came to us from an overcrowded NJ shelter with her two babies, Bixby and Alexa. She was a devoted mama—loving, protective, and patient—and her little ones have since been adopted into happy homes. Now it’s Siri’s turn. This 5-year-old girl has had a tough life—she likely spent time on the streets before landing in the shelter system. Because of that, she’s still learning to trust. Shelter life has been especially hard on her. She’s struggling in the busy environment and needs a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe. Siri isn’t the cat who will run up to you for attention on day one—but with time, patience, and love, we believe she’ll blossom. She gave her babies the best start in life. Meet Baby Girl This beautiful 9-year-old calico/tabby just joined us after we pulled her from the county shelter - and her story is a tender one. Her beloved owner went into hospice, and somehow Baby Girl, who had always been an indoor kitty, was found outside alone. We may never know how she ended up there…but we do know she once had a home full of love. You can see it in her. She bonds deeply. She watches you with those wise, knowing eyes. She leans into gentle pets like she’s remembering what it feels like to belong. Baby Girl would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She adores being brushed (spa day? yes please), melts into the softest beds she can find, and she will absolutely show up on time for every single meal. Food is her love language. She’s been through a lot of change, and our hearts are a little extra tender for her. What she needs now is someone who understands that senior kitties have so much love left to give- and who’s ready to give her the safe, cozy next chapter she deserves. This pretty 1-year-old grey tabby came to us from the county shelter after being picked up as a stray, and we’re so glad she’s here where she can get a second chance. Bella can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable her sweet personality really shines through. She enjoys being pet and brushed and absolutely loves playtime. Wand toys, little mice, you name it—Bella is always up for a game! She also seems to do well with other cats, so she may enjoy having a feline friend in her new home.
