Sweet Dew Drop. This young lady was living outside and eating at a colony feeding station. She unfortunately ended up having 4 babies before she was able to be trapped. She was such a good mama cat. She accessed a neighbors garage through a flood vent and had her kitties in the comfort of a wardrobe box full of clothes! Unfortunately when the owner of the house found her, one baby passed and she moved the rest under a shed. There were dogs in that yard, so next stop was under an abandoned house. Then the property manager wanted to lock the crawl space shut! We got in gear and trapped both her and the babies before they got locked in for good! To our pleasant surprise, once inside Dew Drop was a friendly, sweet girl that adjusted to human intervention immediately. She seemed happy to have help with her crazy crew of all boys, 2 who love to play in water. Splash and Puddles were adopted which left her and Ripple (also available for adoption) to find their new homes. Mama Dew Drop did her job as a mom beautifully and is now ready for the pampered life. She is a calm girl and loves attention. Not one to be held long, but wants to be close and get pets. We would love to see how she progresses even more once she has a loving home and family of her own. She'll need a slow introduction to other animals but has been very agreeable given a little time to adjust. Biscuit - our hearts go out to this wonderful, affectionate boy. A neighbor contacted us because a friend of theirs literally dropped off the cat in a carrier, no food, no toys, nothing, Told them if you can keep him good - I can't. If he can't stay inside just leave him out and give him food. REALLY??? In a new place, new people, losing his home and left to hopefully come back to a new place to eat? So even though we are full - we had to take him in. Chances are if not we would have been called to trap him when sick or injured anyway :( Biscuit has shown he deserved so much more, so we are glad he has a chance now at a better life and lifelong committed family that loves him and won't dump him when things get tough. He is a bit shy at first, probably wondering what comes next. He was friendly with children when they came to visit and seems fine with other cats with a proper introduction. He is very affectionate, purrs when held, wants to explore and all around well behaved. He wants to be with you and loved. Is that too much to ask? We don't think so... Purrcy - NJ Our boy earned his name from day one - he purred like a machine when he was first brought in when he showed up at a colony. Then he gave us a little run for our money Lol He decided he did not like to be caged while waiting for his vet appointment and wanted nothing to do with us. Well, eventually he forgave us and his true personality now shines through! Once he was vetted and could be integrated, this guy became a true love. He will follow you around - let you know when dinner is late - gets along with the other cats and dogs in his foster home and is curious when guests appear. He would like nothing better than to run his own household and claim his own family. Not only is he totally handsome, but he has a wonderful personality. Not to bossy and not too submissive. I got my Stormy last year October of 2025 she was a rescue kitten she was just a baby she was rescued it was raining outside and it gets flooded back here and she was crying all night so the next morning I kept hearing her cry her mother left her behind and I called my mom-in-law about the kitten so she drove from her house came to mine saved her brought her upstairs to me and my husband carried her to me and I washed her up real good and got her her own bed and now that I am pregnant this year of 2026 I can no longer take care of her I can no longer change her litter she's an indoor cat she's great around kids she don't scratch she don't bite she knows how to poop in her litter and she's a very smart cat I can no longer give her the attention that I used to anymore and I can no longer have her in the house because there's going to be a new baby arriving soon so I need her to be adopted and in place in a home quickest possible please and thank you

Mona Lisa - NJ Our little miss Mona was found in a parking lot and was being given away. Someone took her so she did not end up in the wrong hands and contacted us. A bit timid at first, yet always cuddly and friendly, she is looking for someone to trust, love and care for her always. If you know torbie's, she needs consistancy and a slightly calmer household to thrive. They are very loyal and loving once you earn their trust! She does a very good job of grooming herself so requires minimal brushing. Loves to play second only to being held and cuddled. She can be a little bossy around other cats and does very well with the dogs in her foster home. She requires a perch where she can go to get away from it all when she gets tired on occasion. Shylan - NJ We love black cats - yes, they tend to take longer to get adopted - but they also tend to be agreeable, loyal, and easy to integrate. Shylan is no exception. Though Shy at first, thus his name, this boy loves with all his heart. He is very mellow, loves being brushed, loves his food, and loves the people he knows well and trusts. We don't know his past but guess he had a home at some point. He was found with his leg stuck in a fence and allowed a 6 year old to free him. When he came to us we had his wound treated and he was neutered and completely vetted. He was always gentle and friendly but did not approach us until he felt more confident. He will need a family that understands he may take some time to adjust, but the time it takes will be well worth his love and trust for a lifetime. He has made friends with some of the other cats, but especially Hissy, so if you are very patient and looking for a pair that will need time to decompress and so in need please keep her in mind!
