Story
I adopted Taco from a shelter. He is about a year old and loves people! I honestly compare him to a dog. He is very mellow and just likes to hangout and play. He adapts easily to new places and people. I would consider him a very friendly cat. He also knows how to use the litter box very well.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Caro is a 9-week-old female tabby with a gentle heart and strong spirit. She is one of two surviving kittens from her liter, after losing three of her siblings. Her name carries deep meaning, given to honor someone who nearly died but was kept alive through prayer, love, and care. The person Caro is named after is a warrior and a survivor who is now thriving just like Caro. Like the name she was given, Caro is a little survivor whose life is already a story of hope, strength, and grace. Caro has to go home with her brother Rocky. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 18, 2026, 6:30 pm

Story
Meet Ellie Mae! Ellie Mae is absolutely adorable—she has the sweetest little face and giant curious eyes that make it impossible not to fall in love with her. She’s a playful girl who somehow manages to look both innocent and mischievous at the exact same time. When Ellie Mae first arrived to her foster home, it took her a few days to warm up to humans, but she eventually started to cautiously venture out to play. Then, almost overnight, something clicked. This independent little kitten suddenly decided laps were wonderful and pets are pretty amazing when you’re sleepy! Now, Ellie Mae is beginning to seek out affection from the people she trusts and loves curling up beside—or directly on—her favorite human once playtime is over. Shes not quite a snuggle bug yet, but she’s recently discovered she genuinely enjoys love and attention…sometimes. Ellie is a big fan of feather toys, “cat TV,” and entertaining herself by attacking her own tail. She’s playful, curious, a little cautious, independent, and oh so fluffy! Ellie Mae will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption, but is available for foster-to-adopt to the right family now. Ellie Mae is especially fond of her best friend, Talladega, and, while it’s not a requirement for adoption, she would love to be adopted together so they can continue growing up side by side. Story
Meet Talladega! Talladega’s story started in a pretty unusual place—he was found tucked inside the bumper of a car by a couple returning to their campsite after spending the day at the races. Tiny, scared, and painfully skinny, this little boy had a rough beginning, but you would never know it now. These days, Talladega has transformed into a total biscuit-making Velcro kitty who wants nothing more than to be close to his people at all times. He absolutely loves laps, cuddles, pets, and attention, and he will happily curl up beside you, on your shoulder, or in your lap the moment you sit down. If you’re looking for a kitten who truly bonds with his humans, Talladega is your boy. Talladega would thrive in a calmer home where he can feel safe and connected to his people. He would do especially well with someone who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house, since he genuinely enjoys companionship and being part of everyday life. Because he is sensitive to noise and commotion, he would likely do best in a quieter home without young children or dogs. Talladega is also very fond of to his best friend, Ellie Mae, and would love to be adopted with her if possible. Talladega will be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption, but is available for foster-to-adopt to the right family now. If you’re looking for a deeply affectionate companion with a resilient spirit and a huge heart, Talladega may be the perfect addition to your family. Go to @forrescue.net to fill out an application.
