She has been waiting since Nov 2024!! Pecan Latte is a sweet, but shy and leery of new friends. She came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was found as a stray. Pecan needs someone who can work with her and help her learn to trust more humans. She will let her foster mom pet her and rub her belly, but she runs from new people that come to the house. She also does not love (tolerates) being picked up. Pecan Latte is good with other cats and is used to dogs. Pecan Latte is Spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Cat Adoption Fee = $125. He was found as a stray kitten and is so happy to be inside and safe. Teddy is in a foster home w/other cats & dogs. He should be fine with a dog as long as your dog is cat friendly & you do a slow and proper introduction. Teddy would love another kitty to play with!!! Teddy loves to play with his toys. He is not a fan of being held yet but will sit on your lap. Teddy is soooo adorable!!! Adopter will need to complete the series of FVRCP shots as well as his rabies vaccine at 4 months of age. ***NOTE: Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ since you will be required to bring to his neuter appt once he is 5 months old*** The cost is included in our adoption fee. These girls are absolutely stunning and compliment each other well. They were brought in from a colony before it got too cold and have adjusted to indoor life. Lacey (tabby) is very agreeable. She loves to be pet and play. Cagney (torti) is well, a torti 🙃. She will play with you but the way to win her over is with slow movements and food because she is shy at first. They would love to find a home together and continue to learn, grow and explore. All cats are neutered/ spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FELV tested and microchipped prior to adoption.

Story

Misty and Aldine are extremely bonded. These girls must be adopted together. They have been through quite a bit in their short lives and need to know the other is near. They are approx. 3 years old but not siblings. They were brought into foster and stayed together. Their foster mom passed away and after a bit of chaos they were brought into foster with us. They are good with other cats and adjusted to the dogs in the home. They are always sleeping side by side. A calm quiet secure environment is key to making these girls thrive in a new forever home. Patience to let them to adjust is a must. Misty waits by the door to greet people as they come in on her cat stand. Aldine loves windows and bird watching. Misty loves to rub on your hand and get pet and brushed, Aldine is still hesitant and allows pets on her back only. Once they are adjusted to a new home they will be able to relax and be the loving girls that once again know they are there to stay.
