Story
For the past few months, we've seen this kitten on the street, abandoned. I'm pretty sure he belonged to a home and was thrown out. Lately, he's been coming to my house more often. We have two cats, so it was difficult for me to give him the welcome he deserved. But the cold and rainy season has begun, and our hearts simply wouldn't allow us (my family and I) to keep him on the street in this terrible weather. We made the decision and adapted an ideal space for Phillip. He's a loving, peaceful, clean, kind, calm, extremely affectionate, and very docile cat (we assume he's a male). We sincerely hope he finds the home he deserves. He'll be the perfect companion for whoever has love reserved for this beautiful kitten. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance.

Story
MAPLE is a very sweet & friendly girl that has been let down by humans. She was a recent mommy cat living outside. Another rescue was able to take her kittens, and we took MAPLE because she was just too nice to leave outside. She kept trying to get inside houses to be warm and loved! MAPLE is very people friendly, loves to be pet, and will seek you out for attention. She would be the perfect single companion for someone looking for a sweet and loving cat. MAPLE is already spayed, up to date on vaccines, and litter box trained. She has also tested negative for FIV/FelV. eDOB 6/4/2024 Please visit the Instagram link below for a video of MAPLE and give us a follow! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU8mVnyANrr/?igsh=MjczbzIwcnBtMXB5 SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A MEET AND GREET: - To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoptions - As part of our adoption process, we ask all potential adopters to complete an application before scheduling any meet and greets. Story
Hannibal is a handsome 3-year-old fellow who truly enjoys the company of humans. Petting? Lovely. Attention? Wonderful. Being admired for his excellent catness? Absolutely appropriate.Other cats, however… well… Hannibal has some questions. While the other shelter kitties seem very eager to make friends, Hannibal is often seen politely wondering why they keep trying. He’s not aggressive—just a bit puzzled by the whole situation. From his perspective, life seems much simpler when he’s the only cat in the room, thank you very much.Hannibal would likely be happiest in a home where he can reign as the distinguished solo kitty, soaking up all the attention without having to explain to another cat why personal space is important. Got a comfy lap? Hannibal will happily grace your lap with his presence and if you are brushing him, even better! If you are interested in adopting, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a staff member will reach out to schedule a meet and greet.https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplication, or you can stop by during shelter hours to visit the cats in our adoption room.Hamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet.
