Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NJMiss hasn't been in foster long, but she's already making quite the impression! This sweet 2-year-old girl has settled in beautifully and has shown us that she's equal parts affectionate and independent. When Miss is in the mood for love, she is all in. Lie down and you may find her on your chest within seconds, and she's been known to hop into a lap at some pretty hilarious moments. She’ll even wear you like a cozy little scarf—just in time for snuggle season. She loves cuddles and being close to her people, but she's also perfectly happy doing her own thing when the mood strikes. Give her a good sunbeam to stretch out in, and Miss is one very content kitty. Miss can live with other cats, but she doesn't need a feline companion to be happy. She would be just as content as the only cat in the home, soaking up attention when she wants it and enjoying her independence when she doesn't. Miss was recently dog-tested and she did very well! While she did not choose to engage, she didn't run away either, so we think she would do just fine living with a respectful canine pal! To keep Miss feeling her best, she may benefit from a special diet, such as rabbit or another novel protein. She's a sweet, easygoing girl with a wonderful balance of affection and independence. Whether you're looking for a companion for another kitty or a lovely solo cat to share your home with, Miss could be a wonderful fit. Miss is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and ready to find her forever home. Her adoption fee is $125.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2026, 2:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Looking for a kitten with a big personality and an independent streak? Muffin, one of Luna’s babies, is cooking up something special! Muffin is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ once a foster or adopter is found. Muffin is a busy, playful girl who is always on the move! She is independent when it comes to humans and loves to investigate everything happening around the house. You will rarely find her without a toy close by! While she might not always seek out affection first, don't let her independent side fool you—the moment you start petting her, she completely melts into your hands for a cozy snuggle session. Muffin is very social with other felines and makes cat friends easily! She would do best with a feline companion in her new home to keep up with her playful energy. She prefers a dog-free environment and would do wonderfully with other cats and older, playful kids. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NJ Meet Everett! This little cutie came to us from our rescue partner in North Carolina on June 27th. He’s doing great in his foster home, but he would love to find a family of his own. Everett is a purr machine who loves to snuggle with his humans. He’s a friendly boy who loves to play! Everett would love to be adopted with his brother Ezra. If a double adoption isn’t possible, a home with another cat or kitten would be great for him. Kittens do better when adopted in pairs or with another young cat in the home.  Kitten Fee = $175. Pecan Latte is a beautiful kitten hoping to find her forever home.  She has been waiting since Nov 2024!! Pecan Latte is a sweet, but shy and leery of new friends. She came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was found as a stray. Pecan needs someone who can work with her and help her learn to trust more humans. She will let her foster mom pet her and rub her belly, but she runs from new people that come to the house. She also does not love (tolerates) being picked up. Pecan Latte is good with other cats and is used to dogs.  Pecan Latte is Spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.  Cat Adoption Fee = $125.   - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Rocky! This adorable tuxedo girl is a polydactyl and has extra toes on all four paws! This cutie holds her own in a house full of boys! She loves chasing her foster brothers, running around, and getting into some good old-fashioned kitten roughhousing. She plays hard and crashes hard! When she’s not busy wrestling or chasing toys (the wand toy is a favorite!), she’s happy to enjoy some pets from her people. She loves to nap in the window or on the highest platform of her cat tree. She really enjoys having vertical climbing spots and loves to be up on top. At this age, she’s more of a playmate than a lap cat, but she definitely appreciates affection. Rocky gets along great with other cats and is comfortable around the dogs in her foster home, as long as they don’t try to chase her. She’s a fun, confident girl who would love a home with another playful feline friend to keep her occupied. A note about her extra toes: Polydactyl cats need regular nail trims and nail checks. Their extra toes and claws can make it easier for nails to become overgrown or grow into the paw pads, so routine nail maintenance is especially important. If you’re looking for a playful, outgoing kitten with extra-special paws, Rocky might be your girl! A note about Rocky’s adoption: Since Rocky is still too young to be spayed, her adopter will need to take her to the scheduled spay appointment when she’s old enough. Her spay is a required part of her adoption. To make sure she can return for her appointment, adopters must live within an hour’s drive of Holmdel, NJ.   Adoption fee: $175 ($300 for a pair)   Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption.
