Story
Ariel was rescued in September 2024 from an abandonment situation. We took her into our home, later to find out that she was pregnant! Ariel successfully delivered one kitten in October. Ariel is affectionate, smart, and very friendly. She loves to be held and is generally laid back until it’s time for a meal. She loves food! She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and recently got spayed! Ariel’s most recent veterinary examination was 12/30/24. She is flea treated, dewormed, and has no other medical issues! Our initial intention was to keep Ariel as our own. It became clear within a couple of months with us that she was not happy in our 600sqft apartment. Before we took Ariel in she was living outside with plenty of space to roam! Ariel would do great in a larger home or a home where it is safe for her to roam outside occasionally! We live on a busy road with a large stray cat population, which is why we can’t let her outside. We want what is best for Ariel!

Story
I found Elle back in April of 2023. I was on a lunch date at a park in Elmira and all of the sudden I spot this little emaciated kitten sitting on a bench beside me. She was clearly malnourished and had been living on the streets her whole life. So, I catnapped her. Took her to the SPCA and made sure she was vaccinated and microchipped. I didn't get her fixed because she was too young. In June of 2024, she gave birth to a litter of kittens, three of which I was able to find homes for on this site. The only reason I am forced to part ways with Elle is because I'm selling my home and the place I'm moving to only allows two cats (I currently have four).

Story
Bash is a very loving kitty. She's the runt of the litter, which has also made her the calmest and nicest. She's a purr-machine and loves to be held and pet as much as possible. I think an ideal situation for her, based on her small stature, would be to not have a lot of other animals to compete with. So, perhaps maybe a household with one other animal.

Story
Cheeto is a stray young adult male (6-8 months) who is very friendly, affectionate, playful and well socialized with other cats. He is housebroken and very much wants a nice family to give him a permanent home. He has a great personality and would do well with children or even as a 'lap cat' as he loves to cuddle.

Story
Calor is bringin' the heat and he is sure to warm your heart! Calor is a sweet adult cat who is about a year old and is friendly towards people once he has had the chance to warm up a bit and get to know you! Calor does tend to be shy at first and may need a longer period to adjust than some cats might. Calor likes to lounge around or get pets from his people and he will approach people for attention once he is adjusted! He is good with other kittens, cats, and dogs! Calor is a large, handsome, orange tabby cat who likes to curl up and take naps! Calor has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped! He was eartipped at his time of neutering due to the fact that he was a part of a TNR project. Story
Suzy has been with us since January of 2022 so a little over 3 YEARS now! She is brave, independent, pretty, and strong. She was initially found outside trapped under somebody's deck during a major snowstorm, snowed in, and freezing with some frostbite on her nose! Poor Suzy was pretty emaciated when she was found but quickly gained weight and she has now become a healthy and pretty young lady with absolutely STUNNING golden-copper eyes! We just LOVE her very unique and gorgeous eye color and her pretty coat! She is thought to be a middle-aged cat now. It is important to note that Suzy would definitely prefer a home without any other cats but is fine with cat-friendly dogs that are willing to give her some space! Suzy would also be fine as an only pet! She has the typical sass of a tricolored female kitty and would do best with an experienced adopter. (It is very possible that she would be a lot different in personality in a real home without other cats.) We are not recommending a home with young children because she does scratch at times when she has had enough handling. She likes to be pet on the top of her head and tends to be a bit choosy with humans at times. Suzy has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com and we will send you the necessary form!
