Story
Slurms MacKenzie came to us as a stray, but thanks to a kind foster person, we now know so much more about this handsome young man! He likes to take things at his own pace when it comes to getting to know you, and he appreciates a very Zen household with plenty of hidey holes for him to relax in. Give him some time to settle in, entice him with treats, and you may get to see a rare zoomie or two from this fetching guy. He`s also got a keen sense of curiosity, so make sure that your trash bins are secure against his inquisitive nature. We also know that this quiet dude is FIV+, which means that his immune system is more susceptible to things that another cat would brush off, and will require biannual wellness checkups. His outdoor excursions are also at an end, but with enough gentle attention, tempting meals, and warm napping spots, we`re sure that he`ll be content with this change in his life. Does your home lack the mindful serenity that Slurms could bring into it? Come on over to the adoption center Wednesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30) and meet the dude himself. He`ll be waiting! You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
Rose. Sophia. Dorothy. Blanche. Milchreis. Golden girls, through and through. Just like these feel good divas from the sitcom, Milchreis has a lot of life experience under the collar, but also a lot of love to share. She`s spunky and loves to show off her cunning prowess and experience when it comes to catching that tricky little orange jingly ball! Curious by nature, be ready for her to be your buff little shadow while you`re walking through the kitchen, hallways, or getting ready to face the day. We`ve noticed that she doesn`t seem to enjoy sharing the limelight with any other kitties here, though, so she might truly prefer to be your one and only at home. If you`re ready to meet this tiny powerhouse of purrs and leg rubs, come on over to the Adoptions Center during our walk-in hours of 12pm - 4:30pm Wednesday-Sundays (Thursday extended hours to 6:30pm).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true: would you prefer a plush new bed or maybe a pillow to snooze? If you`re looking for a mellow lass who appreciates some gentle adoration, then look no further. Daisy came to us when her owners discovered that Daisy was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the other pets in the home, so we feel that she`d likely do best as the one and only kitty in her next home. She`s been described as very affectionate with people, so why not come in to meet her yourself? Visit our adoption center Wednesday–Sunday: 12:00–4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00–6:30 PM)You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
Harley is a dapper little catten with an expressive face and a really loud purr. Like her namesake, you can hear that motor from a long way away. She got off to a rough start in life and spent the first part of her life outdoors. Despite her late introduction to the joys of indoor life, she has adjusted really well and enjoys the comforts of home, cat treats and human companionship. She enjoys being petted and is quite cuddly at times, but is not a fan of being picked up. A slow approach works best - let her come to you. She enjoys batting her cat toys around and carrying them into her lairs. She is also a cardboard box connoisseur and laser pointer enthusiast. In quieter moments, she likes watching nature videos and soccer games. Harley is a very intelligent kitty with a goofy, gentle personality. She really loves other cats, and seems to act more social in the presence of other cats. She would be a great fit for someone looking for a buddy for their cat who can help to keep her company, too. You should come and get to know her during our open walk-in hours of Wednesday-Sunday: 12:00-4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00-6:30 PM).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221
