Story
Dove and Blue Jay: These bonded littermates have very different personalities. They’re still shy in new situations, but they’ve made amazing progress over their months in foster care since arriving at just six weeks old. Dove is always ready for a game with the feather teaser, and once you’ve earned her trust she becomes a devoted lap companion. Blue Jay (BJ) prefers to play it cool, but once he decides you’ve earned his approval he melts into long, contented petting sessions. He may not be a lap cat just yet, but he loves being close to his people. A calm household will help them settle in comfortably. They’re accustomed to cat-friendly dogs, and Dove even adores the foster’s pup. BJ is more neutral about canine roommates. They aren’t comfortable around young children, so a quieter environment would suit them best. Their long coats need a little routine brushing to stay tangle-free, but they tolerate it well. They have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, combo tested, dewormed, and flea treated. A meet and greet can be arranged once an application has been processed and approved.

Story
Tawny is 6 months old. She is from a liter of 5 from a stray neighborhood cat. She has been fostered from age 8 weeks. She and her siblings were semi feral when I took them in. It took a few weeks for her to trust humans. She is playful and very sweet. Loves to sit in your lap and be petted. She loves playing and wrestling with her siblings. She would do best in a quiet home and with another cat or with one of her siblings available for adoption (Monkey, Joey, Fawna or Cloe). She is shy.

Story
🐾 Introducing Farrah! 🐾 Farrah is the sweetest little girl!  She’s petite with a soft, short coat, and she absolutely loves to play and soak up attention.  Farrah would be perfectly happy as an only cat, but she also gets along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. Farrah was recently diagnosed with food sensitivities after a long journey of trial and error.  Because of this, she will need to remain on a special cat food long-term—possibly for life.  This actually makes her a great match for a home that already has a cat on a similar diet.  Most importantly, she is 100% worth it—her personality is truly the best. 💕 Farrah is fully vetted (spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and combo tested) and ready for her forever home. 📧 For questions about Farrah, please email scratchcats@gmail.com. Meet-and-greets can be scheduled with an approved adoption application, which can be completed online: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption
