Kittens and cats in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee

We call him Theo, but he's happy to have any name you want! Found in our neighbor's backyard, ignoring our barking dogs, and when I checked on him he immediately demanded skritches. No luck finding a previous owner. He's a shorthaired male, weighs 8 lbs, and is about 1 yo. He has a quiet, squeaky meow. He has some scarring on his left ear and eye, probably from being attacked. His tail twitches constantly, even when he's very relaxed, and his favorite things to do are to purr in your lap or make biscuits. He uses a litter box perfectly. Theo is up to date on all vax, and will be neutered on 10/30. He is FIV+, but FIV cats can live full, happy lives. FIV is transmitted to other cats only through deep bite wounds, not via grooming or sharing bowls. Theo needs a home where he can live indoors with other FIV+ cats or where he can be an only cat. Can you give Theo a better home than than our bathroom, with dogs barking at him through the door?

Phoebe and her siblings were found in the woods very, very young, their mom unfortunately killed. She’s been with the family ever since and is around 2 years old now. Very, very playful, and just now getting around to loving to snuggle when she sees a lap or chest available. She does have a habit of running outside, but never goes far and always wants back in. Does well with kids, though our kids don’t really understand cat snuggles, which leaves her wanting more attention from us. They can also be rough with her at times despite our best efforts to explain how cats prefer to play, which she’s not a fan of. Unfortunately, we are moving in the next several months, and would prefer if Phoebe found a home better suited for her where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. No behavioral issues, she’s just young and still learning. Be prepared for leg ambushes during the night while walking through the house. Little thing just wants to play.

Lola (tuxedo) loves to roll around while getting pets, she will sit on your lap, and she will jump onto your chair as soon as you get up so that you have to pet her before you can sit back down. She loves to be held and will try to nestle inside your chest. Lola’s meow is high pitched whisper cute. She sticks her little pink tongue out and looks so silly! Lizzy (all black) was very shy when she first got to us, and it took a couple months before she felt comfortable, but now she is so happy and free! She feels comfortable around household activities, but will likely be a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes time to go to the vet. She comes and asks for cuddles with wide eyes and a whispered HONK sound and absolutely loves pets and scratches but will likely need a bit more time to be scoopable. These two get along so well.
