Story
Casper is a handsome, solid white, shorthair ( tail-less) cat that is for a CAT SAVVY individual! He's very intelligent and resourceful and has a lot of "outdoor stray" kitty skills! He was brought into a S. Carolina County shelter & never claimed. He is very athletic and requires a good amount of mental stimulation such as running around the house, climbing a kitty tree, playing with balls, stuffy toys, catnip mice and kitty game puzzles! He sometimes gets very rambunctious and he will mouth your hand a little bit, but he is a fresh and feisty boy not meaning any harm! He loves human companionship and seeks out human attention and affection. He is a gymnast for sure, curious and quick and he would most assuredly be a very good housemate that would keep your indoor premises free of rodents! Casper must remain an indoor cat, he enjoys sitting in the window to admire the view and watch the birds! He is a solid built boy, a very good eater and likes his kitty snacks! He will play with the interactive ring toy with the balls and also likes catnip mice, jingle balls and the bungee cord toy with the feathers! He will play with almost any toy, whether it be intended for cat or dog, and he is able to amuse himself for a long periods of time. He has a kitty bed that he enjoys, but he prefers to flip it over on top of himself and sleep underneath, peeping out and watching everything! He has accompanied me on trips via car to the stores (in a cat carry bag) and he is not easily frightened. Although he has tolerated the small dogs (very laid back dogs!) he does enjoy chasing them around in circles (& vise versa) but he has a tendency to play "rough". A home with no other pets would probably be best and someone that will continue being very patient with him! He is neutered, UTD on shots, microchipped!

Story
Beautiful Schnee ("Snow") is an affectionate and loving boy! He came to us via rescue, as his previous family surrendered him to a shelter. He is totally deaf and due to his handicap, he has some misunderstood behaviors. Firstly, he startles very easily if you approach him and he does not see you. In the past, he would turn around quickly with his paws and claws extended, ready to defend himself. He has built up a trust with us and knows that we have been compassionate, loving, and patient. He no longer does this with us. We hold him and hug him daily, and he has relaxed and has bonded with us. He is very affectionate and sweet natured, and loves making the "biscuits" in his comfy bed or on your bed as well! Also, he requires mental stimulation during the day that he takes in through his other senses. He has a small ball that lights up and flashes different colors and of course, it fascinates him! We have provided toys to him that move, have bright colors, and vibrate instead of making any noise. He very much enjoys sitting where he may stare out the window for hours, just watching birds and other wildlife in the meadow. At night, when it is dark and he does not see people walking around, he must feel isolated and he howls incessantly until he sees someone. He now wears a close fitting sweater or shirt all the time, and this makes him feel more secure and he howls a lot less. He has gotten along with a small, gentle Chihuahua, but we thinks it's best that he not have a dog in his home. He is okay with one other gentle cat and slow, proper, introductions would be needed. A home with no children (as his behaviors can be unpredictable) and low/no active home is necessary. He wears a collar with tracking device in case (goodness forbid!) he should ever escape the house... as he would become very frightened an difficult to find. A very special home is necessary for this sweet, very special boy.

Story
Sandy.. is the color of a beautiful starfish! He is a very affectionate and VERY active kitten, who has been disabled from shortly after birth. It is believed that Sandy had experienced an amputation, possibly having the umbilical cord wrapped around his R ankle. Having three legs though doesn't slow him down, as he is very active and athletic and will play with any toy that you give him! He really enjoys playing on the cat tree, chasing balls, performing summersaults, and hanging upside down! He is a very happy, healthy and energetic little boy with the cutest face and the prettiest long ear whisps ! His very soft fur is a solid cream/orange color, like the color of a pumpkin spice latte, and he only has slight tabby markings on his tail and legs! His hair is a med length at this time, being a bit longer around his head, chest and tail. He appears to be an Angora mix and has the beautiful, longer, lithe appearance of the Angora cat. His eyes, a beautiful golden color reflect a sweet natured, devilish little boy, that just wants to play all day! As soon as you pick him up or scratch the top of his head or stroke his cottony soft fur, he just purrs and purrs! But he's off again! preferring to run and play or curl up next to you on the sofa when he is ready! Sandy is neutered, UTD with shots, wormed and microchipped. He needs a home without dogs and children age 16+ would be best due to his handicap.

Story
Poppy is a 10-year-old gentle girl who is friendly, playful and social. She likes to be with people, and also be on her own sometimes, explore her world, sit in high places and look out a window at birds and chipmunks. For a napping place she loves a cozy cave, such as a soft blanket in a box in a closet or a soft bed on top of a chair. Poppy is a social eater. She greets you purrfully at mealtimes and loves to be petted or brushed while she enjoys her chow. She is very good and proper at using her litter box. In her first home, Poppy didn't feel safe or wanted. There were rambunctious dogs, bullying cats, and people who didn't pay attention to her. Poppy would love to have several people to relate to, rather than being a companion to one or two. The perfect home for Poppy would be a spacious place with a cat-savvy family who like to dote on a kitty and play with her every day, who know to be gentle and encouraging, so that Poppy can feel safe and loved.
