Checkers is a very funny and chatty kitty that loves toys and attention! He chases his tail, and bops around mouse toys. He loves cat beds too. He doesn't mind other cats and will leap over them when he has zoomies so they better tolerate his energetic mode! He currently lives with our shy girl Juliette and they're a cute pair if you're interested in two! He has some occasional sneezing from a previous severe infection so he will benefit from long-term immune supplements.

Story

Oreo is a 1.5 year old cat found wandering the desert. He is very shy around people, especially those he doesn't know, but he secretly craves scritches and pets. Once he's comfortable with you, he'll hang out near you and come over to rub on you and ask to be pet. He's obsessed with food and loves playing with toys. Oreo gets along really well with cats and calm dogs, and they really help him build his trust in humans. He would do best in a home with at least one other cat, but would also do well with a dog. He is looking for someone who understands that he may take a while to feel comfortable and who is willing to help him work on his fears. He recently had all his teeth removed due to stomatitis, so he needs a primarily wet food diet. Foster-to-adopt is recommended for Oreo. Because of his fear of new humans, he should be started in a crate or small room before being allowed throughout the rest of the house.

Grogu is around 3-4 years old. He is a very shy cat but once he’s out of his shell he’s extremely sweet not to mention a beautiful cat! He loves being pet but is not a huge cuddler, but he enjoys being in your presence. He’s doesn’t like strangers and will hide when you have visitors but if they stay long enough he will get brave enough to come meet whoever is visiting! He’s got quirky personality and is very talkative (especially when given katnip). He’s grown up being around other cats and has been around a small dog as well as a small child and has done well!

We adopted Fernie a couple of years ago and have loved her being part of the family. However, her hair ended up being longer than we expected and with a baby on the way and family allergies, it’s unfortunately just too much. We love her very much and want to find her a loving home.
