Penelope is a true queen - she is mostly an independent cst and likes to be left alone except for morning and night brushing- she lives to be brushed- she is not a cuddler- she will just be "near". The issue Im having is i live in a very small one bedroom and she wakes me at 3:30 AM - i work full time and am trying to go to school as well. I think someone with a bigger place would help. Places she can wander - and play. She does not like dogs - she hides. She just needs someone who has the ability to love her

Hi, I'm Desi and I think I have the best spot in the cat adoption room … because I see everyone who walks in the room!  Stop and say hi to me.  Before, I’d hide but with time I have gotten less shy.  In my prior home, I was the queen for over five years then my person brought home two kittens.  We were not introduced correctly so the three of us never became best buddies and I was surrendered.  I did like being the queen of the house so being an only kitty again would be awesome.  Something I did at my prior home that you might find charming is I like to carry my toys and show them off to you!  It’s been awhile, but maybe I’ll show you my “song & dance” routine when I get comfortable in your home?  Please come meet me today.
