Dobby is 4 years old and we adopted him as a rescue when he was a puppy of around 16 weeks. He is very attached to our family and loves to be by our side. He’s great with our two young daughters and has been with them since one was 2 and the other was a newborn. He’s very athletic and loves to go for walks and runs with my wife and I. He’s solidly trained in terms of basic commands and the invisible fence. He has guard dog behavior too. Despite all that, he’s got a lot of energy and we just don’t feel like we have the time or home set up to be a fit for him so that is main thing we’re looking for in a new home.

We ARE the BEES KNEES :) Well, we look like we have been attacked by alot of bees.... our foster moms say it looks like that because of our many little black spots in our fur :) We are BEAUTIFUL pups, inside and out!! Found at about 2 weeks old dumped at the post office in a box, we have FOUGHT to live, we were so wracked with parasites that our rescuer did not think we would make it :( but, God was on our side.... not just once, but TWICE!!! That's right, as soon as our rescuer knew we would make it....we came down with parvo...one puppy at a time....... AND because our rescuers are so up to date with things for rescue, we each received the monoclonal antibody AND we ALL SURVIVED, again!!! We are healthy and happy pups now, just growing and playing and waiting for our FUREVER families!! We are Catahoula mixed pups, with GORGEOUS markings- the blue/gray swirly kind- and the ticking in our coats that look like bumble bee marks :) We are sweet and loving and smart and playful all at the same time. We have basically been hand raised and LOVE our people! Kids and adults, we love you all!! Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Smooth Coated Collie/Heeler mix is our best guess. He weighs 35 pounds and he loves other dogs. He is very dog friendly with all types of other dogs. He is friendly with the horses and the donkeys in his foster home. He is good on a leash, potty trained and super affectionate. He knows sit and does it very well. He is very attentive and follows direction easily. He knows shake a paw with both paws and is great on a leash. He was an outside dog in his first home and a good Samaritan took him in. He has been with a vet that had PTSD and is sometimes too rough with him. He is very loving to women and also loves men after being at the Rescue for only a week or two. He loves all people and once he knows he is safe bonds deeply and is extremely loyal and devoted companion. He would be great for a hiker, walker, jogger or any one who wants a good companion to take with you. He would be great in a doggy daycare setting as he easily gets along well with all dog personalities. He is vaccinated, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He loves children with open arms and has been around them regularly. This is a WONDERFUL dog and will be a great addition to any family wanting an easy dog to bring in. He would be great for a more novice adopter as he is smart, skilled and follows direction easily. He would be a great dog for a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older.
