You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lindsay found herself unwanted and on death row in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  She loves other dogs.  Cats and young children are unknown. She is good with all people. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. She just arrived in MN on 7/20 so we are learning more about her. We have learned that she is a good eater but will wait patiently for her food while you prepare it. Likes proper introductions to other dogs. Is very sweet and likes to snuggle. She takes a few minutes to settle in the kennel but then does great for the whole night.  First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 25, 2024, 11:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Tammy! Tammy is a social butterfly who adores everyone and everything. She thrives on romping and playing with her canine pals, especially when outside, and like most puppies she seems to have boundless energy. Tammy has bright eyes and a goofy grin that brings joy wherever she goes. Her perpetually happy demeanor is infectious. Tammy is very smart. She has learned to appreciate her routine and is now a champ in her kennel. Young and social, Tammy would thrive in a home where she can continue to play and interact with other dogs on a regular basis. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s always ready for an adventure, Tammy could be your perfect match! Tammy is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Odie Linn is a sweetheart who adores nothing more than curling up on the couch for some quality snuggle time and giving gentle kisses. When she's not cozying up indoors, she loves exploring the outdoors! Recently, she enjoyed a walk, where she impressively stayed calm when she saw cars, dogs, and people—simply sniffing around and on a mission to explore. Odie Linn's original person hit the open road as an over-the-road trucker, so their grandmother joyfully welcomed her into her home. Despite her best efforts, Grandma found it a bit challenging to keep up with Odie's youthful energy.  Due to these changes in her life, Odie Linn is still adjusting to her new surroundings and has shown some unease when being left alone, especially in the car and when in her crate. However, with proper training and patience, we believe she can overcome this and become even more comfortable.   We have learned that Odie Linn knows some basic commands and sits and stays politely and knows “down”.  She is very intelligent. We're still getting to know each other, but it's clear that she's a beautiful little girl with a lot of love to give.  One of the cutest things about Odie Linn is the way she pounces on her tennis ball—it's absolutely adorable!  Are you ready to give Odie Linn the loving home she deserves? Odie Linn is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $300.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi! My name is Dozier and I am from Minnesota. Don't let my silver muzzle fool you! I'm a middle-aged silver fox with lots of pep in my step, a silky smooth coat, and a very distinguished look. With me, you don't have to worry about any of that puppy stuff! I'm fully potty trained, won't eat your shoes, and can be left home alone without being in a crate. I would love a home with a private yard and without shared walls. Noisy neighborhoods make me nervous and I prefer to have "me time" when I'm outside. Seeing dogs or people walking by disrupts my peace and causes me stress. Walks in less busy areas are my favorite; There are so many hidden gems! I grew up with cats and don't feel the need to chase squirrels. I'd rather get my steps in following you around the house in case you need me. I enjoy snuggling with people and can win just about anyone over with my sweet approach and the way I melt in your lap. I have a good relationship with my dog foster brother. Initially, we both liked having our own space as we got to know each other's smell and build trust. Now we can play together or relax together and enjoy each other's company. If we have some shared interests/lifestyles, I'd love to meet you and see if we'd be a good match!

Story
Hi! I'm Arlo. I'm from Kentucky. From his foster: Arlo is sooo sweet. He is very high energy though! I call him the energizer bunny cause he could go all day, every day. He loves all people, but could be a hazard to small children as he doesn't know his own strength. He's great with other dogs, however is a bit unsure of kitties. Not in a mean or aggressive way, just like a "what the heck" kinda way. He is still learning not to pull on walks, I am currently trying to adjust him to a gentle leader to help with that. I think Arlo would be happiest with another dog sibling, as some things can make him nervous when he's in a new place with new people, & he seems to do well following the cues of my resident dog. Not to mention, its always play time for him! He is crate & potty trained, but the crate isn't his favorite space. However, he is still a pup & tends to chew things up when unsupervised, so he begrudgingly accepts his crate when I have to work or am out, as long as he gets a peanut butter filled bone while in there. Although he is always happy & his tail almost never stops wagging, new people & places can make him nervous & he may submissively pee while he is adjusting if he's nervous but that stops once he is more comfortable.

Story
Dobby is 4 years old and we adopted him as a rescue when he was a puppy of around 16 weeks. He is very attached to our family and loves to be by our side. He’s great with our two young daughters and has been with them since one was 2 and the other was a newborn. He’s very athletic and loves to go for walks and runs with my wife and I. He’s solidly trained in terms of basic commands and the invisible fence. He has guard dog behavior too. Despite all that, he’s got a lot of energy and we just don’t feel like we have the time or home set up to be a fit for him so that is main thing we’re looking for in a new home.
