Hi, I'm Jack Adams! I'm a sweet, happy puppy who's looking for a family to call my very own. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a little time and patience, I'll warm up and become your loyal best friend. I'm still a puppy, so I have some energy and love to play! My favorite thing is hanging out with other dogs—I haven't met one that I didn't want to be friends with. I'd love a home with a canine sibling or plenty of opportunities to make new dog friends. My foster family says I seem to be potty trained, and I'm a champ in my kennel. I can stay in it for a full work or school day without any problems. I'm also learning to walk on a leash, and while I'm not perfect yet, I'm getting better every day. Car rides are pretty easy for me too, so I'm happy to tag along on your adventures. I really love kids, but because I'm still young and sometimes forget how big and excited I can be, I'd probably do best with older children who won't get accidentally knocked over during playtime. Cats? Well...they're just a little too interesting for me! I think I'd be happiest in a home without feline friends where I don't have to resist the urge to chase them. Maryann needs a hero. Growing up in rescue is not living her "best life". She has not had it easy. She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue. Now, she is hopeful that someone will see her sweet nature and beautiful colors and make her their newest family member. She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, house trained and ready to be adopted. All she needs now is a good loving home full of happiness, playfulness and lots of love. This joyful Catahoula Leopard Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier mix is full of personality, love, and endless enthusiasm for life. Whether he’s chasing a tennis ball, splashing in the water, heading out on a hike, or curling up beside you for snuggles, Cheeto lives every moment with his whole heart. He’s goofy, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. Cheeto is a smart boy who already knows several commands and loves learning, making him a great match for a family committed to continuing his training. He thrives with structure, plenty of exercise, and lots of interaction with his people. He also enjoys the company of other playful dogs and would likely love a canine companion, though it’s not required. Because of his adventurous spirit, Cheeto needs a securely fenced yard and a family that understands he can be a bit of an explorer. He walks best with a front-clip harness and will happily investigate just about anything, so keeping an eye on him outdoors is important. He can be a little too enthusiastic for young children, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids would be the best fit. Cheeto is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and sleeps through the night. He has a mild sensitive stomach that does well with a consistent diet, and like many curious dogs, he’ll happily sample sticks, berries, or anything else he finds if given the chance. More than anything, Cheeto is looking for an active family who will embrace his big personality, continue building on his training, and love him for the fun, loyal, affectionate companion he is. In return, he’ll fill your days with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.   **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Hi, my name is Flower Child and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Flowerchild is an absolute sweetheart and cuddlebug. She's extremely affectionate and loves jumping into our laps to nestle her head in for pets. She's still building confidence around new environments, but she's shown moments of fearlessness when playing with her toys and getting backyard zoomies. She's clearly very smart and is picking things up fast. No potty accidents so far, but we are still working on crate training and puppy biting! She's also getting better at having alone time. When we're stuck on work calls, we'll look over and find her being a goofy little puppy playing with her toys and rolling around in her bed. She LOVES other dogs and may need help knowing when to take breaks. She doesn't have an ounce of stranger danger either and will snuggle up to anyone she just met. Whoever adopts her is going to be very lucky. She's an awesome puppy!

Hi, my name is Pinky and I am from Arkansas! Pinky is an energetic, curious and loving puppy. She loves playing with our resident dog and her toys. After a bit of energetic playing she loves to jump up on the couch next to you and lay her head in your lap for a nice nap. She is a smart, food motivated pup that aims to please. She walks very well on a leash, nose to the ground to smell who was there before her. She has met the young kids next door and did well with them. She is great with our resident dog. She is friendly to everyone she meets. She has been quiet at night in her kennel.
