Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0DGxNx-6rl0 Seashell is a beautiful Catahoula mix with the most stunning golden merle coat. She is young, about 7-8 months old and weighs about 35 lbs right now. She is great with other dogs and with cats. She plays like a puppy but doesn't have crazy puppy high energy. She is very sweet and will be a great family dog or companion to an individual or couple. Seashell was on the euthanasia list at a small rural shelter that gets no foot traffic so many beautiful, adoptable dogs die there. She was one of the lucky ones that made it out. She is in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport and one of the locations. These are drop off/pick up locations, not rescue locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
MEET TRIXIE! HER ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED!!! Let us introduce you to the sweetest Catahoula mixed girl with the floppiest ears named Trixie! She is one of the most unique dogs you’ll ever lay your eyes on with her stunning soft tricolor merle coat that has necks turning! She’s diamond in the ruff! Her nick named her “Twix” for short because she's sweet like caramel & chocolate! Trixie is young, beautiful, petite, still very much like a puppy, and is ready to take on the role of a family comedian. She gets so excited, and she just can't hide it! Trixie walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, housebroken, & absolutely ADORES people! Trixie loves to give tons of kisses to her humans, roll around like a happy girl in the grass, play fetch, go on controlled pack walks with other dogs, is super treat motivated so training will wear her out from all the waiting she does just for a treat. Trixie is an all-around sweetheart who is still learning about the world and just wants to be loved! Could you supply the love that Trixie is craving? Trixie is available to adopt in Oregon and outside states. Transportation can be arranged for out-of-state adopters. If you’d be interested in adopting Trixie, please submit an adoption application located in our bio.

Catahoula Leopard Dog Mastiff

Female, 6 yrs 2 mos

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Cleo is 6 years young. We are told she is a Catahoula Leopard mix. Due to her size we think she might be part Mastiff She is a sweet girl, who enjoys her milk bones, burying her chew sticks in the yard, a good session of love and scratches, sunbathing, and walking when she so chooses. She will on occasion have short bursts of the zoomies. She is a 'big boned" girl who can be a little stubborn if there is something she doesn't want to do. The shelter is hard on her and she is a bit depressed. She really wants a place to retire. One thing to note is Cleo is scared of the dark. She will freeze in fear. We would recommend making sure that her new home includes some night lights. Cleo wants to be the only dog in the house. She came to us from a situation where she had sibling rivalry when her new doggy sibling hit maturity. Her previous owner did not know how to handle the situation and due to the owner's poor choices Cleo ended up at the shelter. We don't want her to go through that situation again so we think she would prefer to be the Queen of any castle she resides and the only dog. If you can provide a nice home for Cleo please fill out our adoption application.

Story
Shadow is my name and adventure is my game! Want a hiking buddy? Look no further. Need a running partner? I got you, Dawg! Want to feed me immense amount of treats while you watch me sit? I'll eat them all and beg for more! I love all the people and enjoy smelling all the things. I'm a bit of a goofball, so I hope you like to laugh! I'll have you giggling in no time Shadow is a 1-2 year old Catahoula Leopard Pit mix. He can come on strong when meeting new dogs, so we think he would be best either as an only dog, or with a Beta dog who will let him be in charge. He has stunning eyes and a sweet personality. He is eager to learn and please. He is also very food motivated. If you train him, he will excel to be an amazing dog. His kennel manners suggest he may already have excellent bathroom etiquette. He has some tricks already up his paw. He knows how to sit, give paw, down, roll over and crawl. We have no idea how he would be with cats or small animals. We think that his energy would be better for children over 10. If you are interested in Shadow please fill out our adoption application. https://form.jotform.com/223087866890167
