He is an energetic, shy but affectionate (once he gets to know you) and smart that likes other dogs and teen kids. He is a great companion for an active family with a secure 6 ft fence, children over 12 years of age or active single person. Catahoula experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He likes walks, car rides, toys. and dog beds. He will require daily walks and some dog training. Will require 6 ft fence. No apartments or rentals. No cats. Meet Betsy Blue, the wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart you didn’t know you needed in your life. Betsy is about two years old, and while we can’t be certain since she’s a rescue, our best guess is that she’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix. With her one blue eye and one brown eye, her soft, floppy ears, and her gorgeous coloring, she’s as stunning as she is silly. At first, Betsy can be a little hesitant when meeting new people. She’ll do her signature “drive by bump” just to test you out before deciding you’re worthy of her wiggles. But once she warms up, you’ll see a whole new side of her — joyful, snorty, and downright hilarious. Her foster says she sounds like a piglet when she gets excited, and she’s been known to jump for joy when her favorite people walk into the room. Once you’re in Betsy’s inner circle, you’ll be greeted with wags, wiggles, and plenty of conversation because this girl is a talker. This cutie is Braeburn Apple. Sweet, just like his name! He is currently 6 months old. One of his siblings got DNA tested and here are the (super fun and crazy!) results: 26% Siberian husky 13% Boston terrier 11% great pyranees 8% chow chow 5% American pitbull terrier! What matters most is that he is adorable and is in one of the MOST desperate states in the entire US based on statistics. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies.
