MEET TRIXIE! HER ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED!!! Let us introduce you to the sweetest Catahoula mixed girl with the floppiest ears named Trixie! She is one of the most unique dogs you’ll ever lay your eyes on with her stunning soft tricolor merle coat that has necks turning! She’s diamond in the ruff! Her nick named her “Twix” for short because she's sweet like caramel & chocolate! Trixie is young, beautiful, petite, still very much like a puppy, and is ready to take on the role of a family comedian. She gets so excited, and she just can't hide it! Trixie walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, housebroken, & absolutely ADORES people! Trixie loves to give tons of kisses to her humans, roll around like a happy girl in the grass, play fetch, go on controlled pack walks with other dogs, is super treat motivated so training will wear her out from all the waiting she does just for a treat. Trixie is an all-around sweetheart who is still learning about the world and just wants to be loved! Could you supply the love that Trixie is craving? Trixie is available to adopt in Oregon and outside states. Transportation can be arranged for out-of-state adopters. If you’d be interested in adopting Trixie, please submit an adoption application located in our bio.

Story
Meet Hendrix! This sweet guy is about 6 months old, 32 lbs, and full of love! If he could cuddle you for every second of the day, he would. He has been doing amazing with training. He is very good on leash and does not pull a ton. Hendrix is great with dogs of all sizes and age. He has not been around cats but takes direction extremely well and will leave what you say alone. He is known to be super gentle and good with children. He loves his toys and isn't a huge chewer. His foster says he is amazing in the car and has been doing super well with potty and crate training. When his foster says "nap time", he will walk straight to his crate and sleep! If Hendrix sounds like a good option for you please apply here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65aea421922e0610b30f3ea2 OR Please email tristan@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $800.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0DGxNx-6rl0 Seashell is a beautiful Catahoula mix with the most stunning golden merle coat. She is young, about 7-8 months old and weighs about 35 lbs right now. She is great with other dogs and with cats. She plays like a puppy but doesn't have crazy puppy high energy. She is very sweet and will be a great family dog or companion to an individual or couple. Seashell was on the euthanasia list at a small rural shelter that gets no foot traffic so many beautiful, adoptable dogs die there. She was one of the lucky ones that made it out. She is in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport and one of the locations. These are drop off/pick up locations, not rescue locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention.
