🌟INTRODUCING TRIXIE🌟 Meet Trixie! She is one of the most unique dogs you’ll ever lay your eyes on! She’s diamond in the ruff! Her foster mama (who is also an awesome dog trainer) nick named her “Twix” for short because’s sweet like caramel & chocolate! Trixie is about 2 years old, 50 lbs. (perfect size) , shorty girl, & still very much like a puppy! We suspect she is a catahoula/hound/bully mix since she has the cutest floppy ears & stocky but short long body. Trixie walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, housebroken, dog friendly, & absolutely ADORES people! Trixie loves to give tons of kisses, roll around like a happy girl in the grass, loves to play fetch, & go on walks with her foster brother Lloyd. Since Trixie is still a young pup she’s learning her good girl manners & building her confidence. Trixie is such a sweet girl & would love to have a home of her own! We would like her furever home to continue to train her on her good girl manners. Trixie’s adoption fee includes being spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Apply for Trixie or set up a meet & greet!! 🐕💖🐕💖🐕 🐕 Interested in setting up a meet & greet? Message or 📧 us at mahinasohanarescue@gmail.com

Story
This cutie is Shofar. He is currently 8 pounds and 8 weeks old, and we think he may be a Blue Heeler / Australian Cattle dog mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that he is adorable and is one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. Shofar is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Shofar is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, he will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64bf4d83b4e2628d0c073f47 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $650.00 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Meet Tara! (short for Pterodactyl :) Tara is about 3.5 and very sweet! Her ideal day involves lounging in the sun and saying hi to all the people. Tara is great with kids and other dogs. Tara's ideal lifestyle is snoozing in the sun all day and she loves to be outside! She is very calm and rarely barks. Tara is blind in her right eye but has adapted well to this! At times she will walk in circles to understand her surroundings. When she was first getting used to my apartment she was bumping into things but now that she has settled she does well! Since adopting Tara I have taken her to the vet and they said there aren't any signs of her vision loss progressing. I am needing to rehome Tara as living on the 10th floor in an apartment is not working for her. She is needing easier access to go potty. Her foster mom was in a house with a backyard, where she was successfully potty trained prior to living in my apartment. Please reach out, I am happy to answer any questions about this!
