Story
Polo is the standard Poodle that you have been looking for!   This boy is roughly 5-7 years old and weighs 50 pounds with a little that he could gain to fill out better.   Recently his owner passed away and he was on the way to being dropped off at the local county shelter when a kind woman stepped up and took him home.  Soon Critter Cavalry Rescue was called about Polo and asked to help him find a foster and a new home.  This dog is the best and most chill dog on the planet. He is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!   He is not a dog that is looking to join a family and be a playmate to another dog.  While he might play some….he just wants to be your shadow and your love.  He is housebroken, totally healthy, happy with a ready smile for everyone and good with all creatures he meets.  Polo needs to transition soon to a new family before he gets attached to the foster.   His heart and soul needs to be settled and reassured he will be loved and not bounced anymore. Critter Cavalry Rescue can help you adopt this boy right now with all the right credentials and good home that you can provide.  Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We transport to the northeast . PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Story
** I am currently being housed at our Oglethorpe St location. Come meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW, every day from 12pm-7pm. Please arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. to allow ample time to interact with adoptable dogs. Or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more. Ace is an adorable white and gray boy, who's at an awkward age. A year-old, he's into walks, especially those featuring squirrels. He loves his people, and he wants them around as much as possible. He gets barky when they are gone long, which didn't go over well with his last landlord, which is how he ended up in the shelter. But he now needs a home with folks that can take him for lots of energy burning walks. And to help him build his confidence! He's a great dog and so worth it. Ace will need periodic trips to the doggie beauty salon to keep his fur in top shape. A dog likes to look and feel good of course. Friendly and loving, Ace is ready to meet you, his forever people.
