Hollywood is a year old Cavapoo who is very sweet and lovable! My parents can no longer keep him due to rapid onset of Alzheimer’s and we have a big family full of animals already. He is very good around kids, we have them from age 2 through 13. He’s a small 7 pounds and does need to be walked regularly with attention.

Story
Teddy was born on September 25, 2023, he is a shy but loving boy with kind eyes who thrives on attention and affection. He knows basic commands, is very food‑motivated, and loves toys/balls—especially Benebones. I acquired Teddy from a breeder in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He is an enthusiastic chewer and will need durable toys. He can be vocal at times and may bark when startled, confined, or excited by other dogs (usually to play). He may show some guarding behaviors and mild anxiety, but his vet believes he will do well with consistent behavior training and structure. He does best with clear boundaries and reassurance. He comes from a home with an energetic 6‑year‑old and enjoys running and playing. He does well alone for 2–4 hours and sleeps comfortably in his crate near his people at night. With patience, training, and love, he will make a wonderful companion.

Meet Dexter! Dexter is an absolute doll and a fluffy ball of love and affection. This precious gentleman has spent his entire life being passed around like an old sweater: worn out, tossed aside, rehomed again and again whenever he became “inconvenient.” His most recent stop was only a few short months, through no fault of his own. Now, Dexter is thriving in his foster home and finally getting the love he’s always deserved. His personality is shining and we’ve discovered he’s a comfort connoisseur who carefully arranges every bed and approximately seventeen blankets until the snuggle geometry is just right. He also loves wearing warm clothes on cold days. Dexter gets along beautifully with two resident cats, enjoys long sniffy walks, and has started showing off his playful side, especially with small, soft toys he can proudly carry around. After a lifetime of being overlooked, Dexter is devoted to his person. He’s a top-tier snuggler who loves being petted and follows his foster mom from room to room like a loyal little shadow. If she leaves, he gently collects a shoe or two to nap with. Not to chew, just to feel close. He’s just a great pup. Dexter would love a home with people who are around often, enjoy a cozy routine, and have another dog companion for him. He walks well on leash, rides nicely in the car, and would enjoy a fenced yard to explore. He sleeps through the night with adorable snores, and while he's housetrained he does best with a predictable routine and regular opportunities to go outside. Gentle guidance and lots of affection are his love language. He has some hearing loss, mild arthritis, and itchy skin (all managed with care) and is on a special diet to help him gain weight and soothe his stomach. Dexter is counting down the days until his forever family finds him, and we can't wait to see who's lucky enough to adopt this sweet soul. Could it be you?
