Story
Female Chihuahua mix&#226&#156&#168 Meet Nula! &#226&#156&#168Nula is a 7-year-old, 9-lb Chihuahua mix currently fostered in the East San Francisco Bay Area. She is spayed, parasite-free, and up to date on all vaccinations.   For adoption inquiries, please email beourpet@gmail.com Or fill out an application at www.beourpet.org   Nula is an incredibly sweet pup, but she is unfortunately terrified of men. We don’t know what may have happened in her previous life to have caused this fear, but she would prefer to go to a home either with just women or with someone who’s incredibly patient about earning her trust.   Once she feels safe, Nula is a total love bug. She adores cuddling, sleeping under the covers, and starting her mornings upside down asking for belly rubs. She’s always happy, loves giving affection, and happily soaks it right back up.   Her favorite activity is playing with toys! She’ll happily fetch and bring them back for more playtime. Her foster mom will send her favorites with her. Nula is currently fostered with her sister and they get along very well, but they do not need to be adopted together.   Food? Nula isn’t picky at all—she’ll happily eat whatever you offer and loves all treats. She’s also great on car rides. She hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs and can react fearfully, so she’ll need a patient adopter to help her work through that. She enjoys visitors but can be nervous around loud or boisterous children, so a home without young kids is recommended.   Nula is walked daily by her foster mom and continues to work on her outdoor manners. Potty training is going very well—she’s about 75% trained to use the doggy door and will also use a potty pad if available.   Bird watching is her favorite outdoor hobby, and she’ll definitely let you know when seagulls land on your deck. She’ll even help the neighbors know when the trash or UPS drivers are coming!   All in all, Nula is a joyful pup with a big personality. With a little patience and understanding, she’ll make an incredible companion and family member. Story
NAME:BaronSTATS:Male, Chi/Spaniel mix, 7 years, 14 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first, once he warms up; he loves his people. Baron does need a seasoned owner to work with issues (see below).SKILLSPotty Trained (but may mark until comfortable in new surroundings so suggest a belly band).Crate Trained.NO cats.No Children.Needs to be with another dog.Very treat motivated.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Treat and clicker motivated. Needs work to gain confidence.ONE LAST THING:Baron is a special case. He had a traumatic (likely hit by car) trauma where he had not only lost an eye but had other injuries to his face and jaw. Although he is slowly getting used to living in this new way, he's also scared of strangers at first handling him so we need a seasoned owner for this beautiful little soul. Once he's comfortable, he will want to be with you and love you a lot. He's playful and can play tug with you. In a quiet environment, he will get comfortable and sleep on the couch and cuddle with you endlessly.Baron has been recorded with a bite. We know that the bite was due to the peron going over his head to pet him on the side where he couldn't see. Baron had already warned the person multiple times that he was not comfortable with them petting him and he actually allowed them to pet him for a few seconds a few times, but was telling them he needed space and then he finally bit which was just asking for space and out of fear. So again, we're looking for a seasoned owner willing to give this guy a chance to see life can be good.He has improved significantly, but still has some separation anxiety and guarding barking. The behavior has improved by distracting him with treats and using the 'clicker' for positive reinforcement.Baron needs a home that is patient with him, and in return he'll shower you with love. He will do best in a quiet environment where there are no children or cats.November 28, 2025, 12:09 am

Story
Female Chihuahua mix Nile EGYPT is a seven-year-old 13 pound Chihuahua mix. She is fostered in the East San Francisco Bay Area.. She is free of parasites, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. For adoption inquiries please email us at beourpet@gmail.com, or fill out an application on our website at www.beourpet.org.   If you are looking for a sweet bundle of love, Nile is your girl. She loves to cuddle and snuggle under the covers with you at night. When you wake up in the morning, she will turn upside down for belly rubs. She’s always happy, loves to give love and loves to be given attention right back.   Her favorite thing to do is play with her toys. She’s will fetch the toys and bring them to you for more playtime. She has her favorites and her foster mom will be sure to send them with her when she’s adopted. She’s currently fostered with her sibling sister and theyget along really well together. However, they do not need to be adopted as a bonded pair.   When it comes to food, Nile will eat whatever you feed her. She loves any and all treats, as well. She’s very good for car rides.   She has not had much exposure to other dogs and she does react like a lunatic. She will need someone with patience to help her overcoming her fear. She loves when there are visitors that stop by, but she can be nervous around loud and boisterous children. For this, we suggest she not be around younger children.   Her foster mom walks her daily and she is working on her outside manners. Potty training is going very well. Nile is about 75 percent trained to go out the doggy door. She will also use a potty pad if one is available.   She is a great reminder on trash day and will let the neighborhood know when the trash man is coming. Bird watching is her favorite outdoor activity. She will let the neighbors know when Seagulls have landed on your deck, too.   All in all, Nile is a very happy dog with a dynamic personality. On a scale of 1-10 she is an easy 10+. If you have the patience to help her be successful and overcome a few imperfections, Nile would make an amazing companion and family member. Story
My mom was Diagnosed with Dementia and she has 2 Chihuahuas (Mother & Son) we need to find a home for. The Mother Zoey had 3 puppies 3 years ago and I have one and my sister has one, but now my mom can't take care of them anymore. And with us having to take care of my mom we need to find them a home. We don't want to take them to the shelter. They don't have to go together, If you know anyone that is willing to take them in and try to re home them? Thank you! Zoey is the Mom, she is about 6 or 7 (Not Sure) someone gave her to my mom about 3 years again and she didn't know she was pregnant. She is really good with other dogs, very sweet and loves to go for walks. She is in the Picture of the last two. Brownie is her son, he is 3 years old and loves to play ball, go on walks! They are both hose trained. But when Brownie gets worked up he tends to get a little aggressive towards Zoey. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
