Story
FOSTER CARE! Hi, my name is Carla! I am a 3 year old, 12lbs., spayed female chihuahua. I’m a curious little girl that takes a while to warm up to new surroundings, and I’m looking for a patient family that will give me the time I need to warm up to new people. Once I’m comfortable though, I squeak for belly rubs and will roll around in my dog bed! I love to explore once I’m ready, and I love to lie in sunny spots. I even know how to use a doggie door when I want to! I sure do love meal time and treats. I have lived with other dogs before and get along fine if they give me my space, but I also wouldn’t mind being the only dog in the house. I am crate trained, and my foster family says I'm pretty potty trained!    Carla AID# A928346 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.  Application: https://phs-spca.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/AdoptionProfiles_dog2023_fillin.pdf *The application may not work on mobile devices and iPads.
