Story
Cash is a 6 year old male, 20 lbs, house trained sweet dog. I adopted Cash when he was 4 months from Hop Along Adoption. Due to severe allergies, I need to rehome Cash. He is good with other pets after his nerves settle, he is really playful and loves hugs. I have a small grand daughter and he is good with her, follows her around. Story
NAME:BaronSTATS:Male, Chi/Spaniel mix, 7 years, 14 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first, once he warms up; he loves his people. Baron does need a seasoned owner to work with issues (see below).SKILLSPotty Trained (but may mark until comfortable in new surroundings so suggest a belly band).Crate Trained.NO cats.No Children.Needs to be with another dog.Very treat motivated.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Treat and clicker motivated. Needs work to gain confidence.ONE LAST THING:Baron is a special case. He had a traumatic (likely hit by car) trauma where he had not only lost an eye but had other injuries to his face and jaw. Although he is slowly getting used to living in this new way, he's also scared of strangers at first handling him so we need a seasoned owner for this beautiful little soul. Once he's comfortable, he will want to be with you and love you a lot. He's playful and can play tug with you. In a quiet environment, he will get comfortable and sleep on the couch and cuddle with you endlessly.Baron has been recorded with a bite. We know that the bite was due to the peron going over his head to pet him on the side where he couldn't see. Baron had already warned the person multiple times that he was not comfortable with them petting him and he actually allowed them to pet him for a few seconds a few times, but was telling them he needed space and then he finally bit which was just asking for space and out of fear. So again, we're looking for a seasoned owner willing to give this guy a chance to see life can be good.He has improved significantly, but still has some separation anxiety and guarding barking. The behavior has improved by distracting him with treats and using the 'clicker' for positive reinforcement.Baron needs a home that is patient with him, and in return he'll shower you with love. He will do best in a quiet environment where there are no children or cats.November 28, 2025, 12:09 am

Story
Meet Alexandria Egypt Alexandria Egypt—known to her friends as Alex—is an 8 lb, 5-year-old, spayed Chihuahua mix with movie-star looks and a heart full of devotion. Fostered in the San Francisco Bay Area, this tiny girl is ready to find her person…and then never leave their side. Alex is a beauty with a sensitive soul. When she’s unsure, she likes to cocoon herself in blankets until she feels safe. And once she does? Watch out—this girl is incredibly affectionate. Truly, you have not been loved until you’ve been loved by a Chihuahua, and Alex takes that role very seriously. Her happiest place is on a lap or curled up next to her person on the couch, soaking up all the closeness she can get. She enjoys her kibble, absolutely appreciates treats, and is very interested in anything her humans might be eating (sharing optional, but deeply encouraged in her opinion). Alex will potty outside and is continuing to learn that outside is the only acceptable option—she’s trying hard and making progress. Alex isn’t experienced on a leash yet, but she does love to chase a ball, showing off her playful side. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate and wakes up thrilled to see her favorite person in the morning—those greetings alone are worth falling in love for. Alexandria Egypt is a sweet, snuggly, deeply loyal little companion who just needs a soft place to land and someone to adore. If you’re looking for a devoted lap dog with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give, Alex may be your perfect match. Story
13 years young | ~7 lbs | Chihuahua mix | Foster-to-Adopt eligibleMeet Loofah Egypt 13 years young | ~7 lbs | Chihuahua mix Fostered in the San Francisco Bay Area Foster-to-Adopt eligible Loofah (affectionately known as Loo Loo) is a tiny senior with a big personality and a whole lot of charm packed into her petite frame. At around 5–7 pounds, she may be small, but she’s still up for a half-mile morning walk and loves poking around the backyard to see what’s new. Loo Loo is the definition of a sweet, independent lady. She’s not much for being carried around—unless it’s on her terms, and then only for a brief cuddle. She prefers lounging in one of her many strategically placed beds, rotating nap spots like a pro. At night, she sleeps peacefully in her own bed on the floor (no human bed sharing for this girl, thank you very much), providing a delightful soundtrack of tiny snores and sleepy grunts. It’s absurdly cute. She’s mostly potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside—though as a senior, her “waiting window” is understandably limited. She’ll also make her opinions known with a soft little whine. (Yes, this includes requests for your dinner. No, you should not give in.) Loofah gets along well with men, women, and respectful kids (she’s done great with a 12-year-old), and she mostly ignores the other dog in her foster home. She eats kibble like a champ—even without all of her teeth—and is always happy to accept a treat… or two… or three. One firm preference: she does not like being crated. Foster-to-Adopt Details: Loofah is available for foster to adopt with someone who can bring her to the rescue’s vet in Pittsburg for her upcoming spay and dental. If you’re looking for a low-key, endearing senior who enjoys daily walks, cozy naps, and gently communicating her needs, Loofah Egypt is ready to charm her way into your heart. Story
My mom was Diagnosed with Dementia and she has 2 Chihuahuas (Mother & Son) we need to find a home for. The Mother Zoey had 3 puppies 3 years ago and I have one and my sister has one, but now my mom can't take care of them anymore. And with us having to take care of my mom we need to find them a home. We don't want to take them to the shelter. They don't have to go together, If you know anyone that is willing to take them in and try to re home them? Thank you! Zoey is the Mom, she is about 6 or 7 (Not Sure) someone gave her to my mom about 3 years again and she didn't know she was pregnant. She is really good with other dogs, very sweet and loves to go for walks. She is in the Picture of the last two. Brownie is her son, he is 3 years old and loves to play ball, go on walks! They are both hose trained. But when Brownie gets worked up he tends to get a little aggressive towards Zoey. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
