Eva lived in an assisted living facility with her beloved Papa. After he passed, another resident tried to care for her, but it quickly became too much. When the family reached out to us, we knew right away that this sweet girl belonged with Tails of Gray. 8-year-old Eva is a mellow, house-trained little lady who loves to cuddle, gets along beautifully with both people and dogs, and is happiest snuggled on the couch surrounded by a mountain of blankies. Aside from a heart murmur and minor arthritis, she is considered healthy. She arrived a bit underweight at 12 lbs, but she’s steadily filling out. Since joining us, Eva has truly blossomed — even showing a cute, playful side we hadn’t seen before. She’s ready for the next special chapter of her life and can’t wait to meet her forever family.

Turbina came into the shelter with her four siblings after her parents left the country and the remaining family member was unable to care for them. She is 10 years old, weighs 16 pounds, and has quickly made herself right at home in foster care. Turbina has already shown us she’s a champion sleeper, an enthusiastic eater, and a world class snorer. While she can be a little shy at first, Turbina is incredibly sweet once she knows she’s safe and cared for. She is really starting to come out of her shell, seeking out her foster family for affection, following her foster mom around the house, and happily joining in on little adventures. She loves sleeping on the bed, is eating well, and is even beginning to ask for walks. Turbina is also learning house training and doing great. She will thrive in a calm, quiet home without young children where she can continue to build confidence and feel secure. She recently underwent cherry eye surgery and is ready to head to her forever and ever home.

Lily is a gentle, kind little girl who recently lost her mom, so she came to us feeling unsure and a bit scared. She enjoys exploring the backyard, but when she's inside, she often feels safest relaxing in her crate. Having lived a very sheltered life, so much of the world is brand new to her, and she's taking it all in one day at a time. With patience, love, and a little time, her confidence continues to blossom. Lily is estimated to be 8–10 years old and weighs about 14 pounds. During her vet exam, we learned that Lily has a grade 5 heart murmur, and she has been started on medication to help manage it. Her adopter will need to continue monitoring her heart throughout her life, but many dogs with heart murmurs go on to live happy, comfortable lives. Lily gets along well with both dogs and cats and would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She's an absolute cutie patootie with the sweetest, gentlest eyes. She doesn't ask for much - just a loving family to call her own.

He was rescued as a stray from an elementary school 7-8 months ago by TOG Buddy Love’s foster mom. One of the other big rescue dogs in the home picks on him, so they have to be separated, and it’s a lot of effort. The need in that area is overwhelming, and we’re hoping that he can find a wonderful forever home by capturing the heart of a family looking for a younger dog. Chachi is very sweet and will cuddle next to you until you wake up. He loves fetch and the water hose. He has a big bark, but no bite. He’s fine with cats and friendly with all dogs, if they like him too. Please consider opening up your heart and home to this sweetheart. Bodhi is an 8-year-old, 20-pound Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. Bodhi is housebroken and crate trained. Bodhi can have separation anxiety and would thrive with someone who is home most of the time. He’s a little chunky, loves to play, is great with dogs and kiddos, and is an all-around sweet little guy. He is affectionate and cuddly, knows basic commands, walks politely on leash, plays fetch and comes when called. Bodhi is an all around wonderful dog and he'll be a loyal companion to a very lucky family.

**Meet Skipper on Saturday, October 10th from 10 am to 1 pm at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Skipper is a young adult Chihuahua mix with a short, white coat and subtle, tan spots. He has a sturdy build and weighs just over 13 pounds. Skipper is enjoying all the comforts of his foster home. He's been a very nice guest and his foster family reports that he is eating and sleeping well, and he is already housetrained. Skipper is as cute as he is nice - a good boy who appreciates having a human companion to spend his days with. He has soulful eyes that are often checking in to see if it's time for more cuddles and kisses, or maybe it's time for a snack or a walk! He's moderately active and enjoys regular walks around the peaceful neighborhood. Skipper prefers a home with females only since he is uncomfortable with men in the home. A quiet, adult home without a lot of activity will be best. Skipper is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.
