This gentle, easygoing boy is happiest when he’s curled up in your lap or tucked beside you on the couch, soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. His soft puppy-dog eyes have a way of melting hearts in seconds — and he knows just how to use them! While Henry adores playtime outdoors and romping around with his siblings, he’s never far from his people. After a bit of fun, he’ll come trotting back for reassurance, cuddles, and maybe a belly rub or two. He’s beautifully crate-trained, rides calmly in the car, and brings a peaceful, loving presence wherever he goes. Henry would thrive in a home with another dog to be his built-in best friend — someone to share adventures, games, and cozy naps. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate pup who will be your constant companion and devoted shadow, Henry is ready to fill your home (and your lap) with love. Best guess at breed. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

These two are a bonded pair who do just about everything together—and they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side. 🐾They snuggle together all night and most of the day, playfully chew on each other’s ears when they’re bored, and are always ready to team up when there’s a little mischief to be made! 😄Martin considers himself Steinbeck’s personal bodyguard. When he’s worried, he stays close and hovers protectively over his buddy. Steinbeck, on the other hand, is the braver adventurer and can often be found climbing onto tables and shelves in search of a snack to steal! 😂 Every evening, they enjoy a walk together—although they think running away from their harnesses first is part of the fun! Once they’re suited up, they’re happy little walking companions. They also ride beautifully together in the car. 🚗🐶🐶 Mealtimes are another adventure. Their bowls are placed as far apart as possible, but that doesn't stop them from racing back and forth trying to sample each other’s dinner! 😂 Steinbeck has a cleft lip, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He happily eats anything and everything and shows no indication that it bothers him. He occasionally has reverse sneezing, which can be common in short-nosed dogs. These two have a bond that is incredibly special. ❤️ Martin and Steinbeck must be adopted together, because wherever one goes, the other belongs right there beside him. If you’re looking for twice the love, twice the personality, and twice the fun, Martin & Steinbeck may be the perfect pair for you! 🏡🐾💕 **Adoption fee is for both** Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Meet Canela! Canela is 4 years old and just 16 lbs., and the first years of her life were nothing like what a dog deserves. She came from a horrible hoarding situation, where she lived without the security, individual attention, and love that should have been hers from the beginning. Understandably, Canela needs a little time to realize she’s safe. New places and new people can be overwhelming at first, and it can take her a few hours to settle in and let her guard down. She would thrive in a quiet, lower-chaos home with an experienced—or simply patient and understanding—person willing to let her adjust at her own pace. Canela is fully vetted, spayed, and ready for her new life. She is currently in Puerto Rico and will be brought to the States as soon as a foster or adoptive home is found. Her transport is included in her adoption fee. She’s spent four years learning that the world can be scary. We’re hoping someone will finally teach Canela what it feels like to be safe, chosen, and loved for the rest of her life.

Story
Toby loves toys, and can easily be distracted from doing something you don’t want him to do, if he's offered a toy. Toby loves to play with his brother, Buddy, who he's being fostered with. They will chase and wrestle with one another for hours. When they’re ready for a break, they’ll come up onto the couch and take a nap. They both like to snuggle. They love going in their crates, because they know that means they’re going to get a high value treat (beef liver—they love it!). We have their crates in our bedroom (covered with a towel), and they sleep 8-9 hours with no issues. We make sure they potty right before going to bed. We have a sound machine that we leave on (near their crates) at night and when they’re in their crates when we’re away during the day. We're currently working on potty training, and Toby has alerted that he has to go potty a couple times, however he is easily distracted outside, and needs to be reminded to go potty. Even though we have a fully fenced yard, we always take them out on a leash. This helps us to keep control of them and keep them more focused. We also say “Go Potty” about a million times, and give lots of praise (and treats) when they actually go. We have not used pee pads in the house, because as soon as one is put down, they try to eat it. They do fine in the car. We put a crate in the car, and that’s how they ride. Putting a towel over the top of the crate keeps them from barking at people in neighboring cars. 🙂 They love ice cubes! They definitely enjoy lick mats. We’ve tried roasted mashed sweet potato, peanut butter, and canned pate style dog food. We spread the treat on the mat, then freeze them, because it takes them longer to eat them. We’ve trimmed their nails a couple of times, and they did really well. They both sit on command, especially if a treat is involved. Toby still jumps sometimes, but we say no jump and turn away from him, and he usually stops. We typically have some music playing in the background, and that seems to help distract from most outside noises that might make them bark. These adorable boys are ready to find their forever homes! Adoption Process & Questionnaire: https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/to-adopt My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.
