Story
🐾 Meet Mort 🐾 Mort is an adorable boy with a gentle heart who is looking for a patient, understanding family to help him build confidence. Found as a stray by Animal Services, Mort is still learning that people can be kind and that the world isn't such a scary place. Despite his uncertainty, he eagerly walked up for a leash and enjoyed getting pets and attention. Being picked up and handled made him a little nervous at first, likely because he hasn't had much experience with it. But even while feeling unsure, Mort remained sweet and calm. After a few moments, he relaxed and sat quietly on a lap, soaking in the comfort until it was time to get down. Mort isn't looking for a fast-paced lifestyle—he's hoping for a patient, easygoing home where he can settle in at his own pace, continue building trust, and discover what it means to be part of a loving family. With a little time, understanding, and plenty of love, Mort is sure to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. ❤️ Adoption Process & Questionnaire: https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/to-adopt My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not guaranteed*

Story
This adorable 2-year-old chihuhua weighs just 13 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you! He has a big personality and plenty of love to give. Tyler is a people-loving pup who enjoys spending time with his favorite humans and being the center of attention.Tyler appears to have been the king of his castle in his previous home and doesn’t appreciate being confined in a crate, kennel, or carrier. We suspect he may not have had much experience with them, so being placed in one can be stressful for him and he may use his teeth to communicate that. If his future family doesn’t plan to use a crate, Tyler should settle in just fine!Tyler has been diagnosed with heartworm disease, but the good news is that he has already been treated for it!If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Tyler may be the perfect match for you!

Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Meet Henry — The Ultimate Snuggle Companion Henry is the definition of sweet and soulful. This gentle, easygoing boy is happiest when he’s curled up in your lap or tucked beside you on the couch, soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. His soft puppy-dog eyes have a way of melting hearts in seconds — and he knows just how to use them! While Henry adores playtime outdoors and romping around with his siblings, he’s never far from his people. After a bit of fun, he’ll come trotting back for reassurance, cuddles, and maybe a belly rub or two. He’s beautifully crate-trained, rides calmly in the car, and brings a peaceful, loving presence wherever he goes. Henry would thrive in a home with another dog to be his built-in best friend — someone to share adventures, games, and cozy naps. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate pup who will be your constant companion and devoted shadow, Henry is ready to fill your home (and your lap) with love. Best guess at breed. Story
His story is a heartbreaking one. When his owner passed away, her grandchildren threw Pinky and his sibling out onto the street. Eventually, they were found living in a makeshift pen, trying to survive after losing the only home they had ever known. One by one, his siblings found families of their own. Now Pinky is the last one left waiting for his turn. Despite everything he has been through, Pinky remains a joyful, loving little dog who greets each day with optimism and a wagging tail. Pinky is in great health and wonderful shape. You would never guess he was 8 years old. While he is not fully potty trained, he is making progress, and belly bands work wonderfully for him while he continues to learn. He is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is ready to travel to a foster or forever home anywhere in the United States. Transportation is included in his adoption fee. After losing his home and watching all of his siblings leave for families of their own, Pinky deserves a soft place to land. If you have a lap, a few treats, and room in your heart, Pinky is ready to love you forever.
