Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         June 16, 2024, 4:48 pm

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED This is ANGEL who was owner surrendered to us because the owner could not afford the pet deposit with the landlord.  She is 9 months old and 11 pounds and probably will not grow anymore. ANGEL is a quiet yet playful dog who is use to being around other dogs and get along along with all of the dogs in my home.  She walks well on a leash and does not get car sick.  She likes to cuddle up with you and other smaller dogs just because.  She is a good dog in my home and would make a great pet for a first time owner or senior citizen or single or full family home pet.  She adapts well to any environment. Story
ADOPTED!! If you are not able to view the pictures please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvenience. Trina is the smallest of the 2 girls at 3.50 pounds.  She is 3 months old. Her sister Tammy weighs 5 pounds. Both are big at heart and play very well with the foster dogs in my home.  She is a robust tiny girl.  I would like to adopt them together but will only consider separating them if there is another pet in the home already.  They will be truly bored and not make good dogs being the only dog in the home. I do not expect them to be more than 10 pounds as adults.  If you are interested in adopting them or one of them please submit an application on the website below. They have only had 1 vaccination and I would like for them to have 2 before going to their new home.  Their second vaccination is due on February 23 and they will receive that here but I am taking applications now.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. ADOPTED!! If you are not able to view the pictures, please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvenience. Tammy is a 3 month old and 6 days of pure Chihuahua.  She weighs 5.10 pounds and will probably not get bigger than 10 pounds as an adult.  She is very playful and plays with all of the much bigger dogs in my home.  She has a smaller sister 3.50 pounds named Trina.  They are very close and I would love for them to go together but willing to let them go into a home that already has a pet in the home.  Neither of them will do well as an only dog.  They have too much energy and really enjoy playing with other dogs. Tammy has been spayed and only 1 vaccination, I would like for her to have 2 vaccinations before she is adopted but I am taking applications now.  She gets her 2nd vaccination on February 23.  If you are interested please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Ziggy is a lover boy who would love to have a home with you.  He gets along with all of the dogs in my home and plays very well.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  When you tell him to 'Go Home' he puts himself in his crate and telling him to 'Go Potty' he will run outside.  I have not left him alone in the home while I am running errands because he always puts himself in his crate.  He will eat with the other dogs but he likes to eat in his crate.  He does not have any food or any other aggression. Ziggy was an owner surrender from someone who had him all of his 3 years.  The owners living situation changed and she could keep him any longer.  When he first came to me he was very scared and confused which was understanding.  I completely left him alone so he could get use to his new environment, the dogs and me.  After 2 days he came up to me giving me kisses and he has been my best friend every since. On the day of surgery, he was nervous but he allowed the vet tech to handle him and he was so relieved to see me on pick up time.  Once he gets use to you, he is an excellent pet and no maintenance on a daily basis. Ziggy is 3 years old, weighs 8 pounds and a long haired Chihuahua that would need to be groomed about every 3 months.  If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. Sorry it is hard for me to get a picture of him by himself as he is always playing with one of the other dogs. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Felix and his brother Hector were owner surrenders. They are located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so these sweet little boys are willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. They do not need to be adopted together. Felix is a fun and loving chihuahua. At 8 lbs and around 1 year of age, he packs a big punch of love! Felix LOVES to socialize with people and other dogs and wants to make as many people and canine friends as possible. He is generally quiet but does bark in appropriate situations. Felix and his brother Hector are being fostered in a home with many other big and small dogs. He will meet the other dogs through his kennel with a wagging tail. He has had successful play dates with the little 18lb terrier but has not been out with the big dogs yet (although he would like to be). Felix is paper-trained and will also go potty outside. He would be a fantastic apartment dog. He would need a canine companion or a situation where he is not left alone while you are at work. Because Felix is so small, he must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt him. He must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Felix must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, he will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Felix must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Felix is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Felix's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Glastonbury, Danbury, or Lisbon CT. He is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this sweet little boy. Charlie is a sweet 6 year old neutered male chihuahua/pug mix, weighing about 10 lbs. He is a shy boy who takes a little while to warm up to new people/situations, but he is very gentle! Charlie is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. He is good with other dogs who are a similar size (has not been around larger dogs), good with older kids 10+ due to his shyness. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! This is a beautiful boy who is just the best little thing.  He only weighs 16 pounds and the vet has guestimated his age to be 2 years old.  RIO was dumped at an elementary school of which my girlfriend is a teacher.  She called me that people had just dumped him. RIO came into my home with the best manners, quiet and obedient.  He sticks really close to me but does not get in the way.  2 of the male foster dogs bark at him but he does not react, he retreats and ignores them.  RIO does not have a bad bone in his body, no aggression anywhere.  He is housetrained and pottytrained.  He hates going into the crate which I use sparingly.  I put him in the crate yesterday to take him to be neutered and he had a fit.  He really is trustworthy around the house when I am gone. RIO likes to cuddle with me while I am watching TV on the couch.  He walks very well on the leash without pulling and rides in the car without getting sick.  If you are interested in adopted RIO please submit an application on the website below. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
