Hi friens! My name is Mikey! Im a curious 16 week old chi mix. My mama is a chi but she's not giving any clues as to what my dad is. She was already pregnant with me and my siblings when she was rescued so no one really knows. But I don't mind. Ive got a nice warm friendly foster home for now. Like my foster siblings I'm ready to start searching for my furever home. Im working real hard on potty training and I've done really good with other dogs my size and cats. Cats are funny things but I don't mind them. I like my toys and sweaters. And id really like a home with another dog my size. Im only about 5lbs right now. They say I might grow into my ears but I dont knkw what they're talking about. I think my ears are fine. I might be a little shy at first but I warm up well with attention and some space. So.....what do you think? Can I come home with you?

Hey, um...hi!! I'm Lucy. I'm a little on the shy side with pictures. I'm still little (16 weeks) and the world is awful big when your my size. But, I like having playmates like other dogs and cats. My foster mom says i do ok in a kennel but I do so much better with a kennel mate to cuddle with. My current kennel mate is my brother. He snores but dont tell him I said that, he'll deny it. I'm a chi mix and I'm going to stay small. I'm ready to find what my foster mom says is my forever home. I hope they have a playmate my size. I'm still working on learning all the things I need to know but I'm doing good so far! I brought the popcorn if you want to watch a movie with me. Netflix maybe? Honey is a 81/2 year old female Chihuahua.She is a tiny,nervous Queen with a big personality and even bigger boundaries. She has a past that's left her deeply unsure of humans. She isn't ready for cuddles, pets, or even the occasional hand reach,not yet. She'll need a home that understands love can be quiet, patient, and without physical contact for a long while (maybe forever).Honey Boo Boo would thrivebest in a calm environment with no small children. She currently coexists peacefully with thecats and dogs at her foster home and finds a sense of safety in animal companionship. While she doesn't want to be touched, she enjoys being around her trusted furry friends,they help her feel less alone in the world and she hopes her someday adopter might have a resident furry companion to continue showing her there are some really kind humans out there.She must have a fully fenced yard because she cannot be leashed or carried and has zero recall,catching her would be like trying to scoop up moonlight.We know she isn't your average lap dog,but she doesn't want to be. She just wants to exist peacefully in a home where she's allowed to feel safe and accepted exactly as she is. She isn't broken,she's just not for everyone. But for someone, she might be everything. If you're the rare unicorn of a human who doesn't need affection or to give love, Honey Boo Boo is waiting for you. The adoption fee is $250 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
