Story
Luma is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Luma does have a cherry eye, but she will be having that removed on June 20th. Luma and her sister Rosalina were owner surrenders. Luma is an all around good girl. Apx 6-7 years old and a chunky overweight 16.5 pounds. Luma needs to be on diet and get exercise. Luma rarely barks. She walks well on leash, she is potty trained, is great with cats, kids and dogs. She is good in the car and has an overall great demeanor. Her and her sister were very nervous when they first came in, but they are opening up more and more every day. Luma is playful and silly at times and more confident than her sister. She is very friendly and although this chapter of her life has been difficult, the best is yet to come and we know that there is a great family out there for Luma. LUNA is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Luna is the sweetest girl. The smallest of her siblings and the calmer one of the group. I think she has a bit more chihuahua in her than the rest. Luna is apx 4-8 months old and 10 pounds. She will probably be about 15-20 pounds fully grown. Mama is a chi mix about 15 pounds. We are guessing by the looks of the other siblings there is some chi, maybe a dash of pug and daddy may have been a border collie. Luna is social, happy, loving, adorable, and you just can’t help but want to love on her. She is going to make a wonderful part of your family and will certainly make your days brighter and your hearts fuller. Luna is great with other dogs, cats and well mannered kiddos. LUCY is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Lucy is a very funny girl. She is the bounciest of the group. This a certified jumping bean. Lucy is apx 4-8 months old and 15pounds. She will probably be about 20-25 pounds fully grown. Mama is a chi mix about 15 pounds. We are guessing by the looks of the other siblings there is some chi, maybe a dash of pug and daddy may have been a border collie. Lucy is social, happy, loving, adorable, full of energy and you just can’t help but want to love her and laugh at her. She is going to make a wonderful part of your family and will certainly make your days brighter and your hearts fuller. Lucy is great with other dogs, cats and kiddos. PACO TACO is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Paco Taco is apx 2-4 years old and 9.6 pounds. He is a bit of a handful but the most loving boy you will ever find. Have you ever dreamed of having a man that was obsessed with you? Well let me introduce you to Paco, he will probably try to take a shower with you. LOL Paco is a velcro dog and he does have some separation anxiety. Paco Taco is actually quiet once he can’t see you, like if you go to work, he stays quiet and calm until your return, he only cries for a few moments when you leave then settles down. However, if you are home and he can not get to you, such as a shut door, kennel, baby gate, that is when the show starts. The tears, whining and crying is an entire theatrical performance. He’s a big baby. Paco walks well on leash. He has okay potty manners but did mark a couple times when he first arrived, but has not marked again in a while. He holds his potty all night. We do have some natural anti-anxiety medication we can send with him on transport. Oddly enough, he does ok in the car. He is good with cats and female dogs but not the best with dominant male dogs. He wants to be the king of the house. He would do fine with well mannered older children. Paco Taco takes a little patience but he sure will love you past the moon and look at you like you hung the stars. 🌟 Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. SKYE is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Beautiful Skye. Skye was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation. She was infested with fleas and ticks and living outside. Skye is 7.3 pounds and apx 2 years old. She is timid and shy but warms up quickly. She is good with MOST dogs but Slye has an old soul and she is not a huge fan of puppy antics. She will never be overly aggressive but if she is napping and a puppy runs up on top of her she will give a little growl and let it be known she is not in the mood. Skye has not been very playful here, she is reserved and sleeps a lot. I think she will blossom more once in a home environment. She likes people and attention once she settles in a bit and is not afraid. She needs a quiet home, no small children or puppies. She does great with cats. She would like a home that is consistent, calm, loving and gentle without a lot of chaos and change. She loves beds, blankets and chicken 🙂 She is a gentle soul and needs time to adjust, heal and trust. She just needs a little love, reassurance, stability and a place to call HOME. Currently in Texas and can come to Ancaster Ontario on the next transport. Norah is approximately one and a half to two years old. She acts very shy at first, but she comes out of her shell very quickly and she loves hard. Norah adapts well to a new routine and quickly and Bonds to her people. She was at our local shelter and was listed as a caution dog for being aggressive. When Nora was scared, she was growling under her breath, but never acted on it, and she would cower down in a submissive pose for you to pick her up or pet her. She has not done this since we got her home, but I do know she is probably going to need a day or two of quiet decompression time after transport. She has been around volunteers and lots of other people and she has been perfectly happy to see them, very social and jumping up on them for attention. She is a well mannered dog but also still young and very silly and playful. She loves cuddles and being held. Norah is a tall slender 10 pounds but is best friends with Noah (5.6 pounds available for adoption) and Boop, a 4 pound baby (adopted) so she is great with all size animals and well mannered children. She may get a little shy around very young children, but a dog savvy family should be fine. She has an adorable little underbite. She gets so happy to see you in the morning and when you come home every day. Norah is deserving of love and her second chance.
