Story
Buttons is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!).
Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Buttons can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Buttons is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found.

His Personality
Buttons is a uniquely quiet and calm little guy who rarely barks. While he is currently staying with us at the rescue, the loud, chaotic environment of barking kennel mates is a bit too overwhelming for his sensitive soul. He is a gentle spirit who truly blossoms when things are peaceful.
Ideal Home
Buttons is looking for a quiet, low-key forever home where he can finally relax and let his true personality shine. Because loud noises and high energy can make him nervous, a calm household would be his absolute dream come true. He does well with other smaller dogs who match his gentle demeanor, making him a great potential companion for another little pup.
Skills & Habits
Crate Trained: Buttons is a champ in his crate! He settles down nicely and does well sleeping in his crate at night.
Car Rides: Need a travel buddy? He rides quietly and safely when crated in the car.
Housebreaking: He is still learning the ropes of housebreaking and will need a patient adopter willing to help him establish a good routine. He does go potty immediately when he is taken outside.
Favorite Things: There is nothing Buttons loves more than burrowing into soft, warm blankets and playing with his toys.

"So, full disclosure: sometimes my emotions get just a little too big for my 8-pound body. If I get super nervous or excited, I might leave you a tiny 'happy puddle' or a little sprinkle of stage fright. It's just my way of saying 'I'm trying my best here!' The good news? I am officially neutered now, so my rescue friends are very hopeful that this little nervous habit will start tapering off as I settle into a secure, predictable routine."
Buttons is a sweet, tender-hearted young dog who just needs a quiet corner of the world to call his own. If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and a ready supply of paper towels for the occasional transition-period oopsie, Buttons is waiting to be your loyal little shadow!

His adoption includes:
Fully Vetted: Buttons is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella).
Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm negative and is on prevention.
Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date.
Adoption Details
Buttons’ adoption fee is $1,200. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area.
