Story
Meet Rosie: Tiny Body, Olympic-Level Zoomies At just 3.5 months old, Rosie is already a professional fetch champion, lap-diving specialist, and part-time parkour athlete. This adorable Yorkie/Chihuahua mix (yes — her genetic bio is official!) has the long legs of a supermodel and the bat ears of a tiny superhero. We’re fairly certain she uses them to achieve mild lift-off during zoomie sessions. She is currently 8 pounds and most likely will end up in the 15 to 25 pound range. Rosie is coming from a loving home that simply wasn’t prepared for the full-time adventure that is “Puppyhood.” Their loss is someone’s incredible gain. This girl is smart. Like, “already learning sit and lay” smart. She’s crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and is totally content resting in her crate for a few hours during the day. She’s not destructive, not a furniture chewer — she just loves her toys. Being in the thick of teething, appropriate chew toys are a must for managing those tiny (very dramatic) shark teeth.   Rosie is currently potty trained to puppy pads and is catching on quickly to going outside. She’s also doing wonderfully learning to walk on a leash.  She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine buddy. She loves kids, too! Because she’s young and still polishing her manners, continued supervision and training will help both Rosie and her tiny human friends grow together beautifully. Most of all, Rosie is silly, affectionate, and full of joyful energy. She’s the kind of puppy who makes you laugh one minute and melt into a puddle of “how are you this cute?” the next. If you’re ready for a smart, playful, snuggly little sidekick who brings equal parts fun and heart, Rosie is ready to meet her forever family.   Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Story
What a fine threesome these littermates make! They're one year old Chihuahua mixes weighing only 10 pounds each. Their names are Tuk, Lo'ak, and Neteyam and each is as playful as the next! They can be a bit shy at first, but they quickly warm up and are very friendly with other dogs and people! These pups are loving, calm, treat motivated and sweet. (Due to their small size we prefer they go to homes without children under 10 years old who don't always know their own strength.) (posted 2 /26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience.February 4, 2026, 12:59 pm

Story
Oh, my! This girl is so precious that we couldn't name her anything else! Can you blame us? Precious is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix who would do best in a home without small children who don't always know their own strength or with those who have had experience with such a petite dog. Super sweet and loving, she is dog friendly and loves to be held. She can be a bit shy at first but quickly finds those arms she wants to fall into! When she came to us she had a lump on her side which we had removed. It was non-cancerous, and she's fine. As we said, we could call her nothing else but Precious, and it describes her well. Story
Neytiri is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality. She can be a bit shy, but that doesn't last long. She's a gentle girl who is dog friendly and curious about everything she sees! She weighs only 10 pounds, so we would like her home not to include any small children unless they have had experience with a dog this size. She's really quite delightful! Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966Available 1/16/2025 Originated fromMaggie Society DL# 16405Wilson NC 27893 Meet Itsey Bitsey Itsey Bitsey is a tiny 12-year-old, 6-pound Mini Dachshund with a gentle soul who is looking for a calm, loving home to spend her golden years. She bonds deeply with her person and absolutely loves being close her favorite place is cuddled under a blanket on the sofa, soaking up love and companionship. After her beloved owner passed away, Itsey Bitsey found herself in a shelter. She was very scared and initially would not eat or drink. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and gave her the second chance she deserved. With time, patience, and love in her foster home, she has slowly begun to feel safe again and now her tail is finally wagging as her sweet personality shines through. Itsey Bitsey can be fearful of men, but her foster family is helping her build confidence and she continues to make progress. She will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. It took about a month for her to feel secure in her foster home, and she continues to blossom every day. She would thrive in a quiet home with someone who is home often. She gets along well with calm dogs and cats, but she would also be perfectly happy as an only pet since she truly just wants to be with her person. Itsey Bitsey is deaf, but it doesn't slow her down or affect her loving nature. She is doing well with potty training when kept on a consistent schedule. She will be available for adoption after she has some needed dental work completed, which will hopefully help her feel much more comfortable and happy. This precious girl is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and cherished.
