Meet Trixie. Trixie is a German Spitz/Pomeranian mix that came to us from a breeder. She turned 3 years old on June 10, 2026. Trixie weighs about 20 lbs. Trixie has taken a lot of time to learn to trust new people. She is happiest playing with other dogs her size and running around in her foster mom's fenced in yard. Trixie will need another dog in the home to gain confidence and learn from. She loves to play with toys in the dark of the night when no one is watching. Trixie keeps her crate clean and knows to go in when it is time for her foster mom to leave. She is going to need a very calm and patient home that has a love for the breed. She wants to be friends but is afraid of people. So far she has only found one person that she trusts and likes to cuddle with. She will mostly hide when there are visitors except for this one person. We think he may look like someone she knew before. No little kids for Trixie as she will snap when she feels threatened or cornered. She is now spayed, had a dental cleaning and is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Chewy! Meet Chewy! This adorable little 6 year old pomchi (pomeranian, long haired chihuahua) mix found himself in need of rescue when his owner had to leave their home quickly for safety reasons. Of course we had to say yes, and have had zero regrets about the decision after meeting and spending a little time with him. As you can imagine Chewy was initially a little scared having just lost his home, owner, 6 doggy siblings and the life he knew, but like most dogs he is resilient and making the most things. He would still LOVE to find a new family to spoil him soon. Chewy is good with people and good with other dogs. He loves to talk/sing along with you and will let you know his opinions in the cutest way. He has had a lot of transitions and we expect he will have some more accidents until he gets fully settled, so his new family should be prepared to help him in this area. Bonnie! Bonnie is an adorable and fun, friendly approx 3 year old pomeranian who is on the lookout for her forever family! Given her non standard (but really cool looking) merle color and one one blue eye she may have been mixed with something like an aussie or sheltie somewhere in her ancestry, although she very much is the size and look of a standard pomeranian. Given that, she will need an adopter who understands the commitment of keeping her coat well groomed and mat free. Bonnie recently joined us from one of our rescue partners and we have no idea why she was surrendered, but their loss can be your gain! She is super friendly and housebroken, although we would expect any dog may have some accidents as they get used to a new environment and routine. Bonnie is also crate trained. She has been great with all the other dogs she has met while in our care, and also loves to make new human friends and even seems to be happy to meet kids in passing. Bonnie is up to date on vet care, including vaccinations and spay. She will be microchipped and has tested heartworm negative. Bandito is a lovable little gentleman whose favorite place to be is wherever his people are. He’s not looking to win any races or keep you on your toes all day. He’d much rather enjoy the good life, soak up some affection, and keep you company wherever the day takes you. This handsome boy has lovely house manners and gets along well with other dogs. He’s mostly housebroken, knows how to use pee pads when necessary, and will happily do his business outside, too. Walking on a leash is still a work in progress, so don’t expect perfectly polished strolls just yet! Bandito does have some extra pounds to lose, and his weight currently makes getting around more difficult. He’s also being treated with medication for a collapsed trachea. His future family will need to be mindful of his medical needs and help him work toward a healthier weight gradually and safely, with guidance from his veterinarian. When it’s time to settle down, Bandito is all about comfort and companionship. He’d probably prefer to snooze as close to you as possible, but he can make himself comfortable in a cozy dog bed or on a soft rug nearby. As long as he knows his people are close, he’s a happy boy! Bandito has a brother named Sombro, but these two are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Bandito is ready to find a family of his own who appreciates the quieter things in life: a comfortable place to nap, a little company, and someone who thinks having a devoted shadow is a pretty wonderful thing.
