Rocky is essentially a Covid dog. He was born in 2020 October 23rd in the city of Laredo. When my father went to go adopt a dog, he noticed Rocky was the most playful in the bunch of puppies. This proved to be true, as he’s spent his entire 5 years in our home playing and loving us. Because he’s a Covid dog however, he struggles with socializing. He barks a lot, but has never bitten anyone/any animal. Eventually, he warms up to newcomers and stops barking, but remains shy. The reason why we want a better home for him is because me and my other siblings out grew him. We’re all either in college or working, and our parents can’t provide those playful needs that only we could provide.

Meet Trina! This sweet girl is looking for a home with her best friend, Big Daddy (A054506). These two are a bonded pair and want to be adopted together. According to her previous owner, Trina and Big Daddy are housebroken, good with other dogs, and sweet with children. Trina is a gentle, friendly, and calm girl with a low energy level. She walks nicely on leash, and is both submissive and affectionate. As soon as you start petting her, she’s happy to roll over for belly rubs. She’s happy to amuse herself, but she’ll always appreciate some attention when you offer it. Trina is very easygoing. If Big Daddy comes between her and you to steal some pets, Trina doesn’t seem bothered at all. She’s happy to share the love. She isn’t particularly interested in toys or treats and doesn’t seem to know any tricks yet - but she has plenty of sweetness to make up for it.Trina and Big Daddy have been together for about four years, and we’d love to see them find a home where they can continue their lives side by side.

Meet Big Daddy! This handsome, sweet boy is looking for a home with his best friend, Trina A054507. They are a bonded pair and want to be adopted together. Big Daddy and Trina have been together for about four years, and their previous owner described them as both lovable and adorable. Sadly, their owner had to surrender them to us due to her health issues, but she says both dogs are potty trained, get along well with other dogs, and have done well around children. Big Daddy is a gentle, friendly, and calm guy who is a little more outgoing than his best friend. He has a low to medium energy level and walks pretty well on leash. Big Daddy LOVES attention and is quick to roll over for belly rubs. If you`re busy petting Trina, don`t be surprised if Big Daddy comes running over to make sure he gets his share, too! He has no problem squeezing himself into the middle of the affection, and Trina is perfectly happy to let him. They don`t seem to argue over attention at all, though they both love getting loved on. Big Daddy will chase a toy when you throw it, although he doesn`t quite understand the concept of actually playing with it afterward. He takes treats very gently from your hand, but doesn`t seem to know any tricks yet. He`s perfectly content wandering around and doing his own thing when you’re not paying attention to him. Big Daddy and Trina deserve a home where they can stay together and continue being the sweet, affectionate duo they clearly are.

Minnie is a small, healthy little dog under 20 pounds. She jumps right up in your lap and will sit there quietly for a long time. She is very affectionate with adults and children. That calm lap time makes her a good fit for someone who wants a companion, including a person with dementia. She is crate trained, housebroken, and uses a doggie door. She eats 1/3 cup of dry food twice a day. When she is not in your lap she has plenty of energy and loves to run and play. We got her from a rescue about eight years ago. She was already spayed after having one litter. We recently had to move in with our daughter for health reasons. Their house already has three dogs. Minnie tries to be the boss and there are sometimes conflicts. Those fights are hard on our special needs granddaughter. That is why we need to rehome her. She has been a sweet, healthy dog for us. She needs a home where she can be the only dog, or with dogs that do not trigger her.
