Story
After raising her babies and being the very best little momma she could be, Mamacita is officially ready to retire and focus on what she's missed most—being someone's beloved baby. This 2-year-old Chihuahua is as sweet as they come. She has a gentle, loving personality and thrives on spending time with her people. In fact, if you're looking for a dog who enjoys her independence, Mamacita would respectfully like to withdraw her application. She firmly believes that life is better when shared, and she isn't shy about reminding you that she'd prefer to be wherever you are. Mama gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to many homes. Whether she's snuggled next to you on the couch, following you from room to room, or happily supervising your daily activities, she's simply happiest when she's part of the action. After working overtime as a devoted mother, Mama is ready to enjoy the perks of retirement: cozy beds, plenty of treats, endless affection, and a family of her very own. She has already spent her time caring for everyone else. Now it's her turn to be spoiled. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love and a talent for staying close to her favorite people, Mama may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Hi there, Diego here. I lost my owner and wandered the streets with my siblings for a long time. Because of this, I'm a little nervous but with some patience, I am the most loving guy! I'm good with cats and other small dogs as long as we are properly introduced. I'm even house and kennel trained- I have great potential. I'm afraid of children so I would really prefer and adult only home, but I do promise to be loyal for life.

Story
I'm Hope and I come with quite a story. This nice rescue received a call from the Houston SPCA stating they had me in custody and my microchip was from them! You see, back in 2018, my brother and I were just baby dogs enrolled and adopted through Houston Cares, and we got our microchips switched, which made quite the investigation for the rescue. We solved that riddle, though, but could not make contact with my previous adopters despite exhausting all resources. So, I'm here, and I'm looking for a family who will keep me safe forever. I do great with other dogs and so far, I'm more of an observer than a player. I haven't made a peep since being with my foster mom, and I'm even house and kennel-trained. I'm affectionate but not needy, so someone to show me love, protect me, and fill my belly is all I need. Could it be you?

Story
I thought I needed a companion and found out I'm too old to give this little guy what he needs. He is very calm and loving. Just needs someone that can love him back. Buddy obeys commands like come and sit. If I could walk him or had a back yard, I would keep him. I live in apartment with small patio. I will include everything I have purchased for Buddy including harness, leash, food, treats, shampoo, waterless bath spray and more. On June 18, 2026 Buddy got neutered, got Rabbies and other recommended vaccines and is currently on heartworm preventative medicine.
