This sweet, young boy was found running the streets on his own. He had no collar and no microchip and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He is very friendly and very smart and only 13 pounds. We think he is close to a year old. He loves other dogs, cats kids, horses… He never meets a stranger. He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around. If you are Interested In Adopting, please visit Funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our rescue and how the adoption process works and find the link to submit the application to adopt. He is fostered in Tennessee And will travel once his vetting is complete in a couple of weeks. His adoption fee is $399 and if he has to be transported out of Tennessee, there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying.   • Energy level: medium • Potty training: pads • Fenced yard: preferred but not required • Shared walls: suitable • People: all • Dogs: all • Other: diabetic - requires insulin shots twice daily   Overview   Looking for a sweet cuddle companion who will melt your heart? Coco (aka Coco Puff) might be the loving girl you’ve been searching for.   Coco is an 11-year-old Dachshund mix, with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. This beautiful, black-coated lady weighs about 20 lbs and came to Little Paws when her owner was going through a life-changing event and couldn’t care for all her dogs. Despite the huge changes in her life, Coco remains an optimistic and affectionate companion.   Environment   Coco is a medium-energy girl who enjoys short walks and playtime but is equally content relaxing at home. She’d appreciate a fenced yard to explore safely, though it’s not necessary. This sweet girl is very independent and does wonderfully when left alone—she’s perfectly content to entertain herself. Coco is working on her leash manners and she doesn’t always pull. She likes to lead unless she gets excited and sees another dog or person to say hello. She will let you know when she must go outside. Pee pads are used when left alone & overnight. She doesn’t need crate training as she’s perfectly content and well-behaved with free access to the house.   Pets & People   Coco is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people on walks and greeting guests in the home. She’s never shown aggression and is always curious to say hello to strangers. With other dogs, she’s generally wonderful, though she may occasionally grumble if surprised when she’s settled comfortably on the couch—she just likes her personal space respected! She’s good with food and treats, eating quickly but taking treats gently when reminded to be “nice.”   Health   Coco is diabetic and requires insulin shots twice daily. With proper management, diabetic dogs can live full, happy lives, and Coco is proof of that! She’ll just need an adopter committed to her medical routine and regular vet care.   Location   Coco is available for adoption from Baltimore, MD. Please email megs0567@gmail.com with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Coco is $250.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2025, 8:29 am

Story
Daisy13 is bonded with Roscoe4 and they will only be adopted together. &#226&#128&#139   Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. &#226&#151&#143 Energy level: low &#226&#151&#143 Potty trained: mostly (needs attentive human) &#226&#151&#143 Fenced yard needed: preferred &#226&#151&#143 Shared walls ok: no &#226&#151&#143 People: all &#226&#151&#143 Dogs: all &#226&#151&#143 Other: bonded with Roscoe   Overview   Looking for a beautiful, devoted soul who wants nothing more than to be your constant companion? Daisy is that girl.   Daisy is a 12-year-old red dachshund weighing just over 9 lbs. She was surrendered by her previous owner and has completely transformed in her foster home, where she’s discovered the joys of yard time, freedom to roam, and all the cuddles she could want.   Environment   Daisy is the ultimate companion dog who will happily stay snuggled beside you all day long, giving sweet kisses and soaking up your love. She’s thriving without a crate and absolutely adores having yard access—she loves exploring, sniffing all the interesting smells, and taking her time investigating her surroundings. Her human should be attentive to her potty cues, and reusable pee pads can be put out at night as backup. She enjoys walks and is learning her leash skills. Daisy loves being wherever her people are, and when left inside while her humans are outside, she’ll let you know she wants to join you. She does best with someone who’s home most of the time and can give her the companionship she craves.   Pets & People   Daisy starts out cautious with new people but warms up beautifully once she realizes she’s safe—then she loves any and all attention. She’s wonderfully calm and accepting with other dogs, showing a passive and curious demeanor. At mealtime, she’s a perfect lady—her foster feeds four dogs at once and Daisy politely eats her own food without bothering the others. She’s a quick learner too—when she’s been caught digging (those yard smells are just so intoxicating after her previous indoor life!), she stops immediately when redirected.   Health   Daisy has manageable skin allergies that respond well to fish oil and occasional Benadryl when she’s itchy. She also takes glucosamine to keep her senior joints comfortable and mobile.   Location   Daisy is available for adoption from Chocowinity, NC and she rides well in the car. She may be a little nervous at first but settles right down next to her human for the journey. Please email msbakeragc@gmail.com with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Daisy is $250. Minnie (Minerva) Bio   Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying.   • Energy level: medium • Potty training: in progress/pads • Fenced yard: not needed • Shared walls: suitable • People: calm adults and older children • Dogs: all • Other: Minnie has a heart condition that requires monitoring but no medication at this time; mild IVDD, special diet for pancreatitis   Overview   Looking for a gentle companion who’ll stick by your side? Minnie the senior dachshund might be the velcro pup you’ve been looking for.   Minnie is a sweet, determined little lady with black and white coloring. Her estimated age is about 11 years old and weighs just under 8 lbs. She was found wandering alone in a parking lot in Little Havana, and a kind person got her checked out by a vet and groomed before she came to Little Paws.   Environment   Minnie is a calm, easygoing girl who loves her daily walks and gets excited the moment she hears the leash. She’s still learning the pee pad routine and does well most of the time, though she has occasional accidents. She sleeps peacefully through the night and can be left alone for short periods—she’ll pace a bit, relax on the couch, then pace again. Crate training hasn’t been needed as she’s been comfortable and well-behaved without one.   Pets & People   Minnie is gentle and enjoys being around people, especially when there’s quiet affection involved. She’s very easygoing with strangers, both at home and in public. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and even likes to share a bed with her foster sister. But fair warning: she’s very food-motivated and can be a bit of a food thief if given the chance!   Health   Minnie has Stage B1 (mild) mitral regurgitation secondary to chronic valvular disease. She doesn’t require any heart medication at this time, but she will need periodic re-checks with her veterinarian to ensure her condition remains stable. She has received the care of a neurologist for mild IVDD, where she was prescribed meds and rest. Minnie eats a special low fat diet to control pancreatitis.   Location   Minnie is available for adoption from Doral, FL and she’s very calm in the car, usually falling asleep during rides. Please email cory_wg@hotmail.com with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Minnie is $250.00. Roscoe4 is bonded with Daisy13 and they will only be adopted together.  Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. &#226&#151&#143 Energy level: low &#226&#151&#143 Potty trained: yes (with consistent human) &#226&#151&#143 Fenced yard needed: preferred but not required &#226&#151&#143 Shared walls ok: yes &#226&#151&#143 People: all &#226&#151&#143 Dogs: all &#226&#151&#143 Other: bonded with Daisy   Overview   Meet Roscoe, a gentle old soul who’s ready to bloom in a patient, loving home where he can relax and be himself.   Roscoe is a 14-year-old red dachshund weighing just over 19 lbs. He was surrendered by his previous owner and has been steadily coming out of his shell in foster care, where he’s discovered the simple pleasures of freedom, outdoor time, and human affection.   Environment   Roscoe is a classic couch potato who’s perfectly content with the low-key life. He’s making wonderful progress in his foster home—getting more interested in exploring, more comfortable with humans, and learning to trust again. He finds comfort in his cozy blanket when he needs to decompress. With a consistent routine, he’s reliably potty-trained and gives clear cues when he needs to go out. He’ll also use washable pee pads at night as backup. He’s loving his crate-free life and adores having a fenced yard to enjoy at his leisure. He’s interested in walks and is working on his leash skills. Roscoe does best with someone who’s home most of the time and can provide the steady companionship he needs to continue building his confidence. He’s quiet enough for shared walls.   Pets & People   Roscoe is a gentle, calm boy with people who just needs a little time to feel secure. Once he knows he’s safe, he becomes more comfortable and affectionate. He’s wonderfully peaceful with other dogs—no drama, no confrontation, just an easy-going guy who gets along with everyone. At mealtime, he’s polite and respectful, eating his own food and leaving others to finish theirs. When he’s uncertain about something, he’ll retreat to his safe space (usually under his blanket) until he feels ready to reengage.   Health   Roscoe manages age-related allergies and joint stiffness with glucosamine for mobility, fish oil for skin health, and occasional Benadryl when he’s scratchy. These simple supplements keep him comfortable and happy.   Location   Roscoe is available for adoption from Chocowinity, NC and he rides well in the car. He may be a little nervous at first but settles right down next to his human for the journey.
