Whether he’s romping around with his doggy friends or curling up for some cuddle time, Hoppy brings a little extra sunshine wherever he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy or an active family ready to include him in daily life. Like any young pup, he’s still learning the ropes and will benefit from patience, love, and positive training as he grows into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.     If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion, Pup Hoppy is ready to be part of your pack!  Apply today Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. Originally from Alabama, this clever little guy discovered a pretty sweet gig hanging out at the local drive-thru, charming customers and accepting the occasional donated hamburger. Luckily for Turner, a kind dog lover noticed this friendly fellow and scooped him up. Sadly, no one ever came looking for him—but that just means Turner is now free to find the forever home he truly deserves. And trust us, this little guy is ready for the job.      Turner is super friendly, loves people, and gets along great with other dogs. Whether he’s trotting along beside you, making new doggy pals, or perfecting his “adorable hopeful eyes” technique, Turner is guaranteed to bring smiles wherever he goes. So if you’re looking for a sweet, social little guy with a great story and an even better personality, Turner may be your perfect match. Story
We adopted Festus in 2022. He's been a good company for us, but I travel every couple of months, and it has costed me quite a bit paying for a pet boarder and a walker when I go into the office. He's very good around children and very loyal. Festus will be a good companion for a dog lover who doesn't have to travel as much.

Story
Naomi is the kind of little dog who makes you stop, smile, and fall in love all in the same moment. This beautiful Dachshund mix girl has the most heart-melting smile and a gentle, loving spirit that quietly reaches right into your heart. At just 1 year old and full grown at a slim 14 pounds, she’s the perfect petite companion—with a limousine, extra-long little body that only adds to her charm. What we love most are those adorable short legs, with her tiny toes turned outward, making her absolutely unforgettable.   Naomi’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. She was rescued by a kind woman who travels the country in a tractor trailer, giving dogs like Naomi a chance at a better life. For days, Naomi rode along in the cab, surrounded by other small dogs all hoping for rescue. When Critter Cavalry stepped in to save her and others, her new chapter finally began.   At first, Naomi wasn’t sure who to trust—but watching her slowly open up has been something truly special. Day by day, her sweet personality has blossomed as she’s learned that she is safe, loved, and finally home. She does wonderfully with other dogs and is playful, gentle, and beautifully mannered. She’s housebroken, walks nicely with a harness, and carries herself with a quiet grace that makes you want to protect her forever.   Naomi is more than just a pretty face—she’s a little soul who has learned to trust again, and she’s ready to give her whole heart to someone who will cherish her. She’s healthy, spayed, heartworm negative, and completely ready to start her forever life.   If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind companion with beauty, sweetness, and that irresistible low-rider charm, Naomi is your girl. Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to bring this special little lady home.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 12, 2026, 2:47 pm
