🐾 Meet Teddy (aka Teddy Bear) 🐾 Age: 2 years Weight: 12 pounds Location: Kingston 💖 About Me My name is Teddy, but you can call me Teddy Bear (spelled B-E-A-R, don’t make me say it twice!). I’m 12 pounds of TOTAL LOVE wrapped up in a fluffy little package. I had a rough start—another dog attacked me and injured my eye. Don’t worry though, I’m healing beautifully and just waiting for my hair to grow back in. My spirit is as strong as ever, and I’m ready to share my love with the right family. 🏡 My Lifestyle I’m not a fan of crates, so I live in “gen pop” at my foster mom’s house. I’m working hard on housebreaking—just a few accidents here and there, but I’m learning quickly. My hobbies include: Giving the BEST snuggles Sneaking kisses (yes, I’ll try to put my tongue in your mouth on repeat!) Being your shadow and loyal companion 🌟 What I’m Looking For I need a family who’s ready for endless affection and a little patience while I finish mastering my house manners. You must be willing to come to Kingston to meet me—because once you do, you’ll fall in love instantly. 💖 Important Notes: • Please DO NOT apply if you do not use heartworm preventative — veterinary history is carefully verified. • No DMs to personal accounts unless you are a friend or past adopter. Please message the NBLCF page directly with any questions. 📄 Application & More Info: 👉 www.Loveforcanines.com

Story
This poor little guy was found stray with a broken leg. It has been surgically repaired, and he is healing well. He is a very nice little dog, thought to be around 18 years old but has spirit and love to give. He is quiet and clean and would be a great senior dog for someone who wants to help. And he sees and hears and loves to explore.

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Wizard Waverly! This charming little 10-pound Chiweenie may have a magical name, but his greatest spell is how quickly he can steal your heart. At just 3 years old, Wizard Waverly is a bright, curious, and affectionate pup who’s learning what it means to be loved and cared for. Wizard came to us from a heartbreaking situation — a home with over 30 dogs living in unsafe conditions. Thanks to the efforts of multiple rescues (including ours!), Wizard and his friends finally got their chance at a better life. Despite his rough start, Wizard’s resilience shines through every day. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and making great progress learning to use the doggy door. He’s still working on his leash training, but he’s such a smart boy that he’s picking it up quickly! Wizard loves toys, especially ones he can chase or squeak, and he’ll happily entertain himself or join in a play session with his humans. Wizard can be a bit shy and skittish when meeting new people or encountering new situations — understandable given his past — but once he feels safe, his sweet, snuggly side shines. He loves attention, gentle pets, and being close to his trusted people. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to give Wizard Waverly the safe forever home he deserves, this little guy will reward you with endless love and loyalty. **Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Wrigley Westbrook! Say hello to Wrigley Westbrook, a 1-year-old, 6-pound Chiweenie with a big zest for life packed into a tiny body! This cheerful little guy has come a long way since being rescued from a home with more than 30 dogs living in very poor conditions. Thanks to the teamwork of several rescues (including ours!), Wrigley finally has the chance to enjoy the happy, healthy life he deserves. Wrigley is housebroken, crate-trained, and learning how to use the doggy door like a champ. Story
My fiancé and I adopted Soto a little less than a year ago from a pet rescue. His mom was found as a stray and it turns out she was pregnant. We adopted him at about 8 weeks and have taken care of him ever since. That would make him right around 1. The reason we are rehoming him is because he is very hyper towards our two cats and he needs a lot more room than we can provide. Its gotten so bad with our cats that they can't even roam freely in our apartment. We had hoped that with exposure and training that he would be better with them, but he still hasn't. While he is not great with our cats, he is amazing with our 16 month old son and should do just fine in a home with children. He would also benefit greatly from a home with a yard or at least a home with greater accessibility to the outside. He still requires some training regarding going outside, and he is a very hyper boy so he would benefit from obedience training as well, but I truly believe he can be an amazing family dog.
