Story
Sol was born on 2-2-22 in South TX in the RGV. She gets along with our 15 yr old mixed terrier. We got Sol when she was 3 months old so she grew up with our old lady Heaven. She doesn't get along with other dogs. She loves attention and very energetic. She runs fast and loves to sun bathe. Her bark is loud and sounds like a big dogs bark. She's for sure a good watch dog. She is a med sized dog. Weights between 20lbs to 25lbs

Story
Meet Bailey, an 11-week-old puppy with a big heart and energy to match! He’s been part of the family for three weeks and has already mastered sleeping through the night in his kennel while making huge strides with potty training. Bailey is an outgoing, curious little guy who treats everyone he meets like a lifelong friend—complete with enthusiastic door greetings and lots of kisses. When he isn't greeting new visitors, you can usually find him playing with his toys, especially his prized little yellow ducky. As we navigate a return to the office full-time, Bailey is looking forward to making new friends and staying on his great routine!

Story
We rescued Penny approximately 8 months ago. The vet puts her around 7 years old. This sweet little girl was found wandering around Lake Worth. She's affectionate, super snuggly, loves to follow you around, go for walks, and roll on her back to play with you. She gets along with the kids, cats and other dogs. She's never bitten and responds fairly well to commands. We've done our best to potty train but she still has the occasional accident. Being able to be outside with her for every potty break is a must. When we rescued her, the vet said she has worn down teeth - likely due to being crated too often or too long in her previous home or homes. I have tried saving for her dental work, yet through a series of unfortunate events, I can't scrape together enough money to help her. Now we're displaced from our home and it's become painfully clear she needs more stability and care than I'm able to offer her right now.

Story
I originally got Cash a year ago, she is about 3 now. She is sweet and has a lot of personality, loves treats, she’s a lap dog so she loves to be under her owner. Goes crazy for treats and snacks. Unfortunately I have an older dog who still does not get along with her. It’s difficult to have Cash out because the older dog will growl and try to get at her, which in turn prevents me from letting Cash stay out. I would like someone who loves chihuahuas and is experienced with them to adopt her and give her a loving home where she is spoiled.

Story
This is Kaj. We got her from a family friend since they moved, she is a 4 year old chihuahua/dachshund mix, she has been spayed previously and is up to date on shots. We can no longer keep her because we’ve moved into an HOA that only allows us to one dog unfortunately, she is a great companion but the only thing is she just doesn’t get along with other female dogs. She’s potty trained and knows the basics (sit, shake), she loves attention and walks as well being around people. I’m hoping to find someone who’s willing to fulfill her needs and care for her overall

MEET PEPPER!!Sadly, Pepper was a young pup that has lived a crappy life in a short period of time!Pepper was found roaming the streets. She was malnourished, limping and in severe pain.We took Pepper to the Urgent care and they told us that she was shot with a BB and it shattered her hip (femoral head) in 10 pieces. You could literally hear her hip crunch. She was in pain and suffered this way for a long time. She was full of fleas and ticks. She had FHO surgery and is now doing great!Pepper is a 2 year old and weighs about 12 lbs. She loves to have fun and run and play with her furry friends!Pepper needs some time to warm up to strangers but with some treats she can become their best friend!! Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 7 months old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 10 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 20 pounds. Charlie enjoys playing with his siblings and fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard. Charlie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Story
Meet Beth, a tiny 7.5 pound chihuahua. Her owner had an unexpected life change and could no longer care for her so we took her into our rescue. Beth is a shy girl so she will need a family that can give her time to adjust and to move slowly. Ideally she would prefer an older retired person as it best resembles one of her previous care takers. She is anxious in new environment's so an easy going household is important. Due to her anxiety we have now started her on some anti-anxiety medication that will hopefully make her a little more comfortable. She will likely need these medications long term since its apart of her personality. She really enjoys staying by her fosters side while she watches TV, reads, or works on the computer. Once she chooses her caretaker she will be your little shadow. Beth is potty pad trained. She does not have much outside experience so if she does go out she will need a very secure backyard with a solid fence. She is spayed, current on all of her vaccines, prevention and is microchipped. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.
