Story
I adopted him from Operation Kindness 2 months ago. He was shy at first but quickly settled in. He is territorial and needs some training. He is good with my other dog but not with strange dogs or people. He is absolutely the sweetest dog with me, just not other people. I think he’s just very protective. He seems very smart. I wish I could keep him but his behavior is not something I can tolerate. He needs a yard where he can run because he has a lot of energy.

Story
Sol was born on 2-2-22 in South TX in the RGV. She gets along with our 15 yr old mixed terrier. We got Sol when she was 3 months old so she grew up with our old lady Heaven. She doesn't get along with other dogs. She loves attention and very energetic. She runs fast and loves to sun bathe. Her bark is loud and sounds like a big dogs bark. She's for sure a good watch dog. She is a med sized dog. Weights between 20lbs to 25lbs

Story
Bella is a 4 year old, German Shepherd (mixed with potentially pit and/or Rottweiler). She is incredibly sweet, enjoys belly rubs, and licking you is her favorite form of returning the love. She is already trained to go in her cage without refusal, sits on command, and avoids learned restricted areas (she wasn’t allowed to come in our carpeted rooms. She stood at the door anytime we walked in while walking with her). She is potty trained and worked well with my work schedule, leaving her room for about 9 hours without mess. She is timid and quick to correct when she’s in trouble.

MEET PEPPER!!Sadly, Pepper was a young pup that has lived a crappy life in a short period of time!Pepper was found roaming the streets. She was malnourished, limping and in severe pain.We took Pepper to the Urgent care and they told us that she was shot with a BB and it shattered her hip (femoral head) in 10 pieces. You could literally hear her hip crunch. She was in pain and suffered this way for a long time. She was full of fleas and ticks. She had FHO surgery and is now doing great!Pepper is a 2 year old and weighs about 12 lbs. She loves to have fun and run and play with her furry friends!Pepper needs some time to warm up to strangers but with some treats she can become their best friend!! She is good with other dogs and needs a little playful friend to play with!Want to give this sweet girl an awesome life?EMAIL:mini-mutts@outlook.com(fosters/adopters must be in the Dallas Metroplex or surrounding areas only)ONE WEEK HOME TRIAL BEFORE ADOPTING!* NO LARGE DOGS* NO CHAIN LINK (can climb)* NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 YRS OLD* NO APARTMENTS* MUST HAVE ANOTHER SMALL PLAYFUL DOG

Story
Meet Cody! Cody is a 13.2-pound, 3–5-year-old Terrier mix with spectacular ears and a sweet, affectionate side that comes out once he gets to know you. Cody can be a little reserved with new people, so he appreciates introductions that aren’t rushed (and include snacks!). Give him a little time, go at his pace, and you’ll discover a cuddly, snuggly little guy who loves being close to the people he trusts. He’s crate trained and housetrained and is looking for a calm, predictable home with an experienced dog owner who will give him time to settle in and feel secure. Cody would be happiest in an adult-only home. He may do well with a compatible larger dog, and we’re not yet sure how he feels about cats. Cody may not hand out his friendship to everyone on day one, but that’s part of what makes earning it so special. If you’re willing to let him get to know you on his terms, there’s a very sweet little dog waiting to curl up beside you. Cody was found loose so while we would love to say with certainty he's four years old and a Yorkie, the truth is that is our very best guess. THINK CODY MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT?  HERE'S WHAT COMES NEXT: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor, and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $135 for cats. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2788366##

Story
Hi, I'm Piper Jones! People tell me that my fur is a beautiful blue color. It's funny, my foster family thinks that my coat should be red because I'm a little spicy! I'm a 3 year old chihuahua/terrier mix and I originally lived in a home with 50 other dogs, so I didn't get much attention. I like attention from people and I bond strongly with those who love on me. I especially like ladies and it takes me a little longer to warm up to men. I would prefer a home without young children. I get along well with cats, and dogs that are my size or larger. I have lots of energy and love to run around the yard. I want to stay with my friend Mystic because we love to play and have more confidence when we're together.    Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Piper Jones the home she deserves! Story
If I say so myself, I am a beautiful 3 year old chihuahua mix. I like people, am friendly with other dogs and cats too (although if they run, I do like to chase them. Since most kitties are almost as big as me, I'm not sure what I would do if I caught up to one!) I have been enjoying my play dates at Velvet Snout with other dogs, and it helps me to burn off some energy. I really would like a yard where I can run around and chase the squirrels. I want to stay with my friend Piper Jones, because we love to play and I have a lot more confidence when I'm with her.  My foster family says I have nice house manners! I started out in life in a hoarding situation with about 50 other dogs, so there wasn't much chance for me to get individual attention. I love it now! It takes me awhile to warm up particularly with men, but I will eventually learn to trust!  Come meet me at a Meet the Pets event or complete an adoption application!!   Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Mystic the home she deserves!
