Story
Meet little boy Jax! He was born on December 5th, 2025. He has been in a wonderful foster home where he has been growing and learning how to be a good dog. His mom is a Chihuahua / Pomeranian mix and dad is unknown but likely a Chiweenie/ Jack Russell mix. Based on his current size we think they will stay under 20lb since his mom is only 15lb. Jax loves to cuddle and. follow his foster mom around the house. He makes a. wonderful companion. His soul is so. pure and joyous. He can be a little shy and timid in new situations but with a little bit of time his personality shines though. Who ever adopts this adorable little boy will be so lucky. Jax is good on a leash and enjoys walks. He is also good with other dogs. He loves to play and even go to the dog park. He also has been exposed to kids 5 and up and loves to play with them. He is create trained. He is almost fully potty trained but accidents may still happen since he's a puppy. Jax is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Magnolia Animal Rescue will cover his neuter when he is 6 month old with one of our approved vet partners. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Tiny's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Tiny is looking for a home! 🩷 Tiny came to RT4P after they were found on the side of the road. Thankfully the grass was low due to the time of year and someone spotted them. Their foster mom Sarah took her in along with 4 siblings. The plan was to split them up but they literally all 5 fit in a cat bed they were so small so they ended up fostering all 5 and they did an amazing job! Tiny weighed 3 lbs at her last vet visit on 2/24. She was approximately 10 weeks old. She looks to be a Chiweenie mix but one thing for sure she is 100% adorable! 🐶 Adopters must live in the DFW area 🐶 Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), 🐶 Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. 🐶 homes require children at least 5 years of age If you would like to meet Tiny, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Story
Hi, I'm Piper Jones! People tell me that my fur is a beautiful blue color. It's funny, my foster family thinks that my coat should be red because I'm a little spicy! I'm a 3 year old chihuahua/terrier mix and I originally lived in a home with 50 other dogs, so I didn't get much attention. I like attention from people and I bond strongly with those who love on me. I especially like ladies and it takes me a little longer to warm up to men. I would prefer a home without young children. I get along well with cats, and dogs that are my size or larger. I have lots of energy and love to run around the yard. I want to stay with my friend Mystic because we love to play and have more confidence when we're together.  Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Piper Jones the home she deserves! Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. We hold these events once a month on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We post the pets who are expected to attend on Friday evening on our Facebook page. For exact details and locations, view our event calendar. If an event is over a week away, a counselor may contact you for a phone interview. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at MTP or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs. ##2476417##

Story
If I say so myself, I, Mystic, am a beautiful 3 year old chihuahua mix. I like people, am friendly with other dogs and cats too (although if they run, I do like to chase them. Since most kitties are almost as big as me, I'm not sure what I would do if I caught up to one!) I have been enjoying my play dates at Velvet Snout with other dogs, and it helps me to burn off some energy. I really would like a yard where I can run around and chase the squirrels. I want to stay with my friend Piper Jones, because we love to play and I have a lot more confidence when I'm with her.  My foster family says I have nice house manners! I started out in life in a hoarding situation with about 50 other dogs, so there wasn't much chance for me to get individual attention. I love it now! It takes me awhile to warm up particularly with men, but I will eventually learn to trust!  Come meet me at a Meet the Pets event or complete an adoption application!! Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Mystic the home she deserves! Story
Friendly, playful, Originally from a hoarding case. Max was adopted and returned 24 hours later. Adopter claimed that Max had multiple seizures in the 24 hours that she had him. The seizures reportedly happened after eating two different grain free dog foods. Max has been monitored by shelter staff for the last month and no seizures have been seen. We recommend keeping Max on a regular dog food and avoiding grain-free diets as a precaution. If seizures happen in the future, Max will need to be evaluated by a veterinarian and would most likely be placed on daily medication to prevent seizures. May 21, 2026, 7:03 pm
