Story
Please Read everything before you show that you are interested. We found him as a baby and have cared for him, but he needs a home where he is treated well and cared for. He’s has had his basic shots for the past two years, i have paid about a hundred each time, nothing fancy. Also he is not used to potty inside but will let you know when he needs to go outside and take care of business. If you expect more from a free dog. Go to a fancy place. Milo is full of energy and healthy, but I would rather that he goes to a person who needs a good companion. My kids don’t care for him anymore. Thats the main reason I am giving him up. he is a little over two years old. Playful and curious.

Story
Paz is an adorable 1-year old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix dog who loves EVERYBODY—People, dogs, cats and chickens. He will greet any new person coming into the house and happily accept scritches. Paz is very energetic and would do best in a house with another dog to play with. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. Open the back door and he’ll zip around the back yard doing his zoomies so fast he’s a blur. He enjoys meeting new dogs and would be a great little guy to take to the dog park. As an older puppy, Paz has his manners down. He is housebroken, though you should expect accidents until he learns your schedule for going outside. He is leash-trained, and you should plan to walk him daily. He rarely barks and knows his canine etiquette. He is very smart: you only need to show him a command 3 times before he has it down. He is learning to come when called. Fair warning, though, he still has plenty of puppy in him, and anything left on the floor—paper, plastic bags, etc.--is fair game. When he’s done with his puppy antics, Paz likes to settle down in Foster Dogmom’s lap. He loves neck scratches and chin scritches. He will happily listen to you go on and on about what a good boy he is. He also loves to be brushed. He would like very much to sleep in his dog parent’s bed, though Foster Dogmom doesn’t allow it and he has adjusted. Pax came to us as a stray from the streets of the Rio Grande valley in southern Texas and deserves a much better life than the one he’s had up until now. He would make an excellent dog for a family or active couple. And, as stated earlier, he would thrive with another dog buddy to play with. Paz is neutered, has all his shots, and is microchipped. He is heartworm-negative. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Story
Sunshine is an adorable 8-pound, 2-year old Chihuahua with a black muzzle and dapper white feet. Her name suits her: She is always happy. Sunshine lives in a foster home with 7 dogs, and she gets along with everybody, though she has a marked preference for the dogs who will play with her. When she’s outside, she likes to run zoomies around the yard for a few minutes and then settle into a spot and sit down to sun herself. Her favorite toys by far are the other dogs. When she’s inside, she loves to lay around—on the bed, on the couch, on the floor, on the ottoman—and wrassle with them. When she’s worn herself down, it’s affection time! Sunshine is very sneaky about working her way into your lap. You look down and see that the dog you thought you were petting is no longer there, and Sunshine has taken their place. She likes to be petted and scritched and told what a pretty girl she is. She will follow you around the house so she is at the ready should you be in the mood to offer up a tummy rub. As a 2-year-old, Sunshine still has a lot of puppy playfulness, but she also has her manners down (for the most part). She is non-destructive, except for pieces of paper and socks left on the floor. She gets run of house when her foster leaves. She’s average barkiness (Hey!! The mailman’s coming up to the house!!!) with one exception: if a dog barks on the TV, or if she even just sees a dog on the TV (and her TV vision is excellent), she’s going to have something to say. She would like to sleep in her foster’s bed but will accept a dog bed or a nearby chair if she must. She’s house-trained-ish: Not 100%, but close. Sunshine would prefer to be in a home with another dog for her to play with. She would make an excellent family dog. We transported her up from the Rio Grande valley in southern Texas where she was found roaming the streets. Sunshine is a great little dog and deserves a much better life than the one she’s lead so far. Sunshine is spayed, has all her shots, and is microchipped. She is heartworm-negative. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.
